This role is focused on developing and maintaining the mid to long-range planning for their open pit asset based in Nevada. The Senior Engineer will be focused on delivering a range of technical planning and development projects, while also working closely with their corporate team to update the investment team. The Senior Engineer will also be involved in the management of site-based projects, acting as a bridge between the technical services and project construction teams. THE COMPANY With sites across the US and internationally, youll be joining a team who pride themselves on creating a safe and inclusive environment for all of their employees. As a business they are focused on building and developing their brand and continuing to challenge the larger industry players. Their preference is to hire ambitious talent who have a bias to action and deliver results for their team. THE PERSON In this role the team are looking for a senior mining engineer who will have already had experience working at a senior technical or consulting level. Given the focus on longer-range planning and development, the preference would be to have this candidate come from a similar type of strategic position. This will include a total of at least five years of experience in an open pit, with preference given to those candidates with hard-rock, precious metal mining exposure.
