Essential Functions
Performs CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
Obtains patient history, explains standard procedures and addresses patient concerns.
Produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as required by the departmental procedures.
Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology.
Regulates the equipment used to expose the x-ray film, develops and documents PACS imaging.
Operates equipment safely and maintains SimonMed standards while performing call types of procedures.
Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, and facility staff.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Works under general supervision.

The Hospice Nurse Practitioner provides consultation in palliative care, symptom management and supportive care to meet the needs of the Hospice patient as requested by the referring physician.
Makes face-to-face encounter visits within prescribed time limits to qualifying Hospice patients and reports clinical findings to the Hospice Medical Director
Consults with the Hospice Medical Director as needed, informs primary physician of recommended services, and collaborates with other physicians as needed.
Initiates and coordinates the plan of care. Documents problems, appropriate goals, interventions, and patient/family response to hospice care. Collaborates with the patient/family, attending physician and other members of the IDG in providing patient and family care.
Instructs and supervises the patient/family in self-care techniques when appropriate.
Maintains accurate and relevant clinical notes regarding the patient's condition. Reports patient condition and any identified needs/issues to Administrator and Hospice Medical Director.
Experience Requirements
Minimum of five years nursing experience; clinical nursing care in oncology, hospice, geriatrics, intensive care preferred.
License Requirements
Current certification as a clinical Nurse Specialist or Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice.

This shared position offers the unique opportunity to work as an OB/GYN Hospitalist in a collaborative community setting at Legacy Mount Hood AND on a high-risk teaching service at a referral hospital in close collaboration with Maternal Fetal Medicine at Randall Children's Hospital.
The LMH OB/GYN Hospitalist covers the Family Birth Center including high-risk and unassigned patients. The hospitalist works closely with a 24/7 in-house CNM, who manages their own low-risk OB patients and first assists on C-sections. LMH outpatient clinic physicians provide OB/GYN back-up for emergencies and complex surgeries. The group works closely with Legacy Medical Group Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians, who have a clinic presence during the week and collaborate on pregnant people requiring transfer to Randall Children's for a higher level of care.
At RCH/LEMC the OB/GYN hospitalist supports the inpatient needs of the Legacy Medical Group (LMG) Maternal Fetal Medicine service and supervises Family Medicine and Obstetric/Gynecology residents (switch the order of these) from Oregon Health & Science University (corrected title). Other responsibilities include backup to the employed Certified Nurse Midwifery (change to CNM to be consistent with prior paragraph) practice, coverage for unassigned labor/triage patients, and support of our private practice OB/GYN colleagues as needed (i.e. C-section assisting).
The OB/GYN Hospitalist is responsible for Emergency Department and inpatient gynecologic consults and emergencies (miscarriage, ovarian torsion, ectopic pregnancy) at both hospitals. Both hospitals provide 24/7 in house Anesthesia coverage.
Shifts are either 12 or 24 hours, starting at 7 am. These shifts are in-house where there is a well-appointed call room. Weekend shifts are split evenly among the group of employees, as are holidays which are on a rotating schedule.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Graduate of four-year U.S. Medical School or equivalent with residency completed in OB/GYN
Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB-GYN.
Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Oregon
Current BLS from the American Heart Association required.
Bilingual a plus!
Required procedures/skills:
Full OB scope of both low and high-risk pregnancies including NSVD, operative vaginal delivery, cesarean section, management of third stage labor, hemorrhage, level 1 ultrasound, repair of episiotomy and lacerations, VBAC. .

Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility is to be available and flexible to float to various sites across the Legacy Health System and provide patient care as needed.
Functions as an integral part of the health care team, collaborating with and under the direction of a clinical manager or designee, in alignment with the Standards and Scope of Practice for Registered Nurses.
The RN Resource Team is responsible for the assessment, analysis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, following Legacy Health's established patient care standards, including protocols for patient assessment and safe transfer.
This position is compensated at a flat rate, with additional differentials applied based on work conditions (e.g., shifts, weekends, holidays, etc.).
Qualifications:
Education:
As required by licensure.
BSN or degree in progress strongly preferred.
BSN may be required for specific assignments; experienced RNs without a BSN may be hired based on clinical experience with approval of the site CNO.
Experience:
Three years registered nursing experience required.
Additional clinical experience requirements may vary dependent upon the specific department in which the position is utilized:
Operating Room: A minimum of three years of recent Operating Room experience required.
Critical Care: Three years Critical Care nursing experience required; the three-year requirement may be met for current Legacy employees who have a minimum of two years adult critical care experience plus one-year emergency department, intensive care or pediatric critical care experience. ACLS required.
Medical Surgical: Three years medical surgical and telemetry nursing required. ACLS required.
IMCU/Med Surg: Three years IMCU nursing and telemetry required. ACLS required.
Emergency: Three years Emergency department experience required. PALS and ACLS required. TNCC required within 6 months of hire.
Pediatric: Three years pediatric nursing experience required (NICU, PICU, Children's Emergency Department and/or Pediatrics). PALS required. NRP required within 6 months of hire.
Women's: Three years recent labor and delivery experience, including one-year high risk labor & delivery/antepartum experience, strongly preferred; 3 years perinatal experience (with 6 months Neonatal Resuscitation specialist experience) strongly preferred. NRP required. Legacy Obstetric and Neonatal Emergencies training within 6 months of hire
Wound Ostomy: Three years enterostomal experience and current Wound, Ostomy Certification by the Wound Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB).
Behavioral Health: Three years behavioral health experience. Previous medical/surgical and/or ED experience strongly preferred, i.e. experience with discontinuing IVs, basic dressing changes, lab draws, etc
Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrated ability of positive interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, patients, families, physicians and the community.
