Job Description
Therapeutic Tech working in a Group Home setting. Will be working with consumers with severe and persistent mental illness in assisting them with individual service coordination, training in daily living skills, residential counseling, support services, crisis intervention services, education and facilitating proper medication self- administration techniques, and health care monitoring and oversight services.
Additional Requirements
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in helping profession or High School diploma with 4 years of experience in working with adults in mental health field. Must have a current driver's license issued in the driver's state of residence without restrictions and with all necessary endorsements appropriate to the class of vehicle being operated. Must be computer literate, have Crisis Intervention Training, CPR certified, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, organizational ability, and clinical skills.

The Fraser-Ford Child Development Center, owned and operated by Waban Projects, Inc. is a year-round school-based behavioral health day treatment program. Waban is seeking dedicated professionals to provide individualized instruction to children with autism, developmental disabilities, and other behavioral health needs in our clinically intensive center-based program. Under the supervision of Certified Special Education Teachers and Board Certified Behavior Analysts, the Ed Tech III provides 1:1 direct instruction in social, behavioral, emotional, functional, and academic skills within an Applied Behavior Analysis model. In addition, our team of professionals includes licensed clinicians, occupational therapists, and speech language providers who also support the Ed Tech III in meeting the child's diverse needs. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred; a minimum of 90 college credits required. This is a full-time position spanning the regular school year, as well as a 28-day summer program. Classroom placements are based upon skill and experience, and all new hires are provided with a two-week orientation, which is currently being held virtually. This position pays between $16.00-$20.00 per hour based on experience and other job criteria.
This position also includes a $7500 sign-on bonus, $3750 paid upon three months of full-time employment, $3750 paid after six months of employment. This sign-on bonus applies to new hires.
