We are offering a $1000 sign on bonus!
Our Therapeutic Mentoring Program is currently seeking a Full Time mentor (40 hours per week) for our 21 Father Devalles location. Mentors work a Monday through Saturday (Saturday mornings shift may be needed) schedule with flexible hours between 11:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. to meet the needs of the participating families.
A Mentor offers structured, one-to-one, strength based supportive services that address daily living, social and communication needs. Mentor services include supporting, coaching and training the youth in age appropriate behaviors, interpersonal communication, functional skill-building, problem solving and conflict resolution.
Education and Experience:
- Candidates should be at least 21 years of age
- A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a human services field from an accredited university and one year experience working with children/adolescents/transition age youth is preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Applicants must have a good driving records, have access to a reliable vehicle and proof of insurance.
