The Licensed Therapist must be experienced in working with Trauma patients and/or experience working alongside first responders. The Therapist is responsible for providing direct psychological clinical services to injured workers and services are provided through multiple modalities, including; initial assessments, case management, psychoeducation and movement classes, as well individual, and group psychotherapy. A typical caseload will include a wide variety of individuals who have been injured at work and are experiencing predominantly anxiety, depression, trauma, and issues related to physical pain. Additionally, this position will partner with the clinical team to assess current treatment and examine opportunities for improvement and will include participation in multi-disciplinary team meetings and case conferences. Therapists work closely with the pain management team to ensure that all individuals who are in our care receive high-quality clinical services. Must have TB test, criminal background clearance. Have at least 1 year of experience in the design and implementation of adaptive skills training plans Have at least 1 year of working experience with developmentally disabled individuals Preferred Capable of lifting 50+ pounds CPR and HIPPA Training, Safety First Training, and Mandated Reporting (procedures, laws, regulations) Training. Clean driving record for 2 years Familiarity with HIPPA Must be able to be hired on with the agency and not contracted (no direct care providers will be contracted) 3-4 years of experience in a supervisory position Licensed, Registered or Certified in one of the following fields and 5 years of experience in human services field, occupational therapy, special education, psychology, nursing, creative arts therapy, speech and language therapy, BCBA certified, DIR certified. Job Summary: The Outpatient Psychotherapist demonstrates advanced clinical, problem solving and crisis intervention skills. Serves as a resource to other clinical therapists and the multi-disciplinary team members. Conducts clinical services, participates in case management, discharge planning, and intervenes in high-risk situations. The Outpatient Psychotherapist complies with all legal and regulatory reporting requirements, interventions, documentation and referrals. The Outpatient Psychotherapist collaborates with the treatment team, collateral contacts and community agencies to deliver the highest quality patient care services. The Outpatient Psychotherapist works within the scope of designated state license to provide clinical supervision to pre-licensed staff. If in a recovery program, at least two years of sobriety is required for staff and at least five years for Management. Performs other duties as needed. Education and Experience: Completion of a master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling related field, or completion of a doctoral degree from a regionally accredited institution in clinical psychology is required. A current BBS license is required. A minimum of two years of experience in a behavioral health care setting is required. A minimum of two years of experience in an acute psychiatric facility with age specific population is preferred. Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of psychotherapy theory and techniques. Able to identify the need for supervision and consultation, utilize such appropriately, and accept direction. Able to read; write legibly; speak in English (and Spanish preferred) with professional quality; use computer, online capability (telehealth) and software programs necessary to the position; troubleshoot and calibrate patient care equipment. Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; be assertive and consistent in following and/or enforcing policies; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; Diffuse aggravated situations with patients and families; lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate; accept direction.
