What You'll Do
Provide 1:1 therapy in a clinic-based day program for children with autism and other developmental disabilities
Implement individualized treatment plans created by a BCBA
Track and record daily treatment via Central Reach
Assist BCBA to implement behavior reduction and skill acquisition treatment plans
Respond appropriately to feedback and maintain/improve performance accordingly
Create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for each patient
What We're Looking For
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age
Must have completed high school or equivalent
Experience working with children ages 18 months-12 years preferred
Willingness to be trained in ABA principles
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to move or transport up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to run or walk throughout 6-8 hour sessions (i.e. patient eloping)
Must be able to respond quickly to manage behaviors (i.e. block aggression, move furniture)
Must be able to be seated on the floor when needed for patient
Must be able to transition from seated on the floor to standing quickly to respond to aggression/severe behavior
Must be able to bend or twist to utilize physical management
Must be able to maintain physical holds for aggressive patients for extended periods of time when needed
Must have the ability to hear and discern sounds in the environment, including the ability to respond promptly to patients' needs and actions
Must have sufficient visual acuity to quickly read and interact with an iPad Mini, including the ability to view text, images, and video content on the screen, often within 10-minute spurts

Responsibilities
Our Physical Therapists examine and treat patients with physical impairments through the use of physical modalities. The goal is to assist persons who are physically challenged to improve mobility and function, independent self-care, other skills necessary for functioning in daily living. arranged by the Clinical Manager. *
8. Evaluate and regularly re-evaluate the speech pathology needs of the client; initiate, develop,
implement and make necessary revisions to the clients plan of care. *
9. Initiate diagnostic, preventive, and rehabilitative procedures as appropriate to the clients care
and safety. Make referrals to other disciplines as indicated by the needs of the client or
document rationale for not doing so. *
10.Observe signs and symptoms and report changes in the clients condition to the physician
and/or Clinical Manager. *
11.Teach, supervise, and counsel the client and family regarding home procedures and other care
needs as appropriate to the clients condition. Use agency educational material as
appropriate.*
12.Coordinate the total plan of care and maintain continuity of care by communicating with other
health professionals. Attend client care conferences. Initiate client care conferences for
complex and/or multidisciplinary clients when needed or helpful to ensure good coordination of
care. *
13.Keep abreast of speech therapy trends and knowledge through seminars, CEUs, self-study
and workshops.

Conduct curriculum-based treatment and educational programs.
Responsible for the collection and entry of client/program data as required.
Complete all documentation and reports in a timely manner for submission to supervisor and to funding agency.
Meet with professional and other community entities to enhance referral sources and ensure continuity of care for clients.
Attend required on/off site training.
Attend and participate in all required staff meetings.

Qualifications
Licensed as an LPC, LPC-A, LCSW, LCDC, or CI in the State of Texas. An LCDC who holds a master's or other advanced degree must complete at least 24 hours of continuing education during each two-year licensure period. An LCDC who does not hold a master's or other advanced degree must complete at least 40 hours of continuing education.
Prefer graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in education, social work, behavioral science, or related field, or graduation from an accredited senior high school with two (2) years' work experience in substance abuse counseling. Responsibilities
Our Occupational Therapists/OTs help patients who have debilitating conditions improve the functions of performing everyday tasks in the home. Occupational Therapists/OTs use treatments to develop the daily living skills of their patients and the basic motor functions of patients, as well as to compensate for any loss of function that patient may be experiencing. Occupational Therapists/OTs administer skilled care to clients requiring intermittent professional services and teach the family and other members of the health care team.
