Maintain proficiency in the use of the Patient Information System. Attend monthly Staff Meetings and in-service related to the unit. Participate in the Performance Improvement Committee activities as required. Attends Annual Education/Trainings Programs. Interacts with patients, co-workers, providers, other departments and outside agencies in a courteous, considerate, helpful and friendly manner. Maintain professional composure and confidence during stressful situations. Maintains open communication using appropriate chain of command regarding issues. Conducts all work activities with respect for rights and wishes of patients, visitors, families and fellow employees. Presents neat appearance in proper attire and identification as required by company policy. Maintains 80% productivity monthly. Reports to work on time and ready to work with minimal absenteeism. Completes B&E (billing and encounter) and post forms within the same day of intervention. Provides accurate and timely documentation in patient charts within the same day of intervention.
