The ideal candidate brings patience, strong communication skills, med tech experience, and a passion for supporting individuals who require behavioral care.Key Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans developed by the supervising BCBA. Provide direct behavioral support to residents in alignment with resident-specific goals. Accurately collect, record, and report behavioral data to support ongoing assessment and treatment planning. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, meals, mobility, and engagement support. Administer or assist with medications in accordance with ALF policies and med tech certification guidelines. Observe, document, and communicate behavioral or condition changes to the appropriate team members. Collaborate with healthcare staff, therapists, and family members to ensure continuity of care. Maintain a safe and structured environment that supports residents' health and emotional well-being. Participate in required trainings and ongoing professional development. Communicate professionally and empathetically with residents, families, and team members. Qualifications Active Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) certification required. Med Tech certification required (or willingness to complete upon hire). Prior experience in behavioral support preferred; ALF, DD, or memory care experience is a plus. Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain calm, composed, and supportive in challenging situations. Understanding of data collection and behavioral intervention principles. Must pass background screening per Florida AHCA requirements. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
