Summary of Responsibilities A Behavioral Health Practitioner (BHP) works under the direction and supervision of a Clinical Manager, providing community-based behavioral health services to individuals with psychiatric illness, substance use issues and/or co-occurring disorders. The BHP must be open and willing to work with culturally and gender diverse groups and individuals to facilitate goals of self-efficacy. This position requires a high degree of self-initiative and motivation. The schedule is flexible, as determined by the person served' s needs and may include early morning, evening or weekend appointments. The position may involve services provided in the designated BHS clinic, driving to persons served homes or various locations within the community where services are provided (if services are offered on-site according to the program and funding source.) It may include telehealth services utilizing both audio and visual communication with individuals. BHPs provide individual, family and group counseling, crisis intervention, conflict resolution, initial assessments to determine level of care, treatment planning, case presentations, presenting psychoeducational information to individuals regarding diagnosis, symptoms, medications, relapse prevention and safety planning. The BHP provides services to both children and adults. The position also includes participating in multidisciplinary case conferences and supervision, treatment plan reviews, developing aftercare treatment and all required documentation utilizing Collaborative Documentation. Qualifications Doctor of Chiropractic (DC), Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), or Master's/Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Active state license in good standing (or license eligibility). Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics, neurology, vestibular rehab, or related fields. Experience working with traumatic brain injury, concussion, or complex neurologic presentations strongly preferred. Proficiency in hands-on assessment and treatment, including soft-tissue work, joint mobilization, corrective exercise, and neuromuscular retraining. This position will be responsible for providing expert nail treatments, and nail care knowledge for each guest. The Club operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting and ending times, and hours worked in a week. General Requirements Provide professional nail services tailored to each guest's needs and health, following established spa protocols and industry best practices. Deliver consistent, high-quality treatments while maintaining scheduled appointment times. Create a welcoming, attentive, and professional guest experience from greeting to departure. Adjust techniques, products, or pressure during services to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction. Maintain a clean, sanitary, and well-organized workstation in compliance with Department of Health and spa standards. Educate guests on treatments and recommend appropriate retail products and additional spa services. Properly use and control products, linens, and tools according to spa guidelines. Demonstrate a polished, professional appearance and uphold club service standards. Work independently and collaboratively with the spa team to support daily operations. Maintain current licensure and participate in required training and meetings. Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and emergency protocols. Complete other appropriate duties assigned by the Spa & Fitness Manager. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. A fitness/Spa background is preferred. Valid State Nail Technician / Nail Therapist License Excellent communication and strong customer service skills. Previous experience as a Nail Therapist or Nail Technician preferred. At least 1-2 years of experience in a hospitality/club setting. Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks. Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization in treatment rooms, spa facilities, and equipment, and adhere to company standards for hygiene, sanitation, and infection control to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for guests and staff. Promote spa services, special offers, and wellness programs to guests, and actively engage with guests to encourage bookings, upsells, and repeat visits to the spa. Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing inventory, and processing payments, to support the efficient operation of the spa and wellness center. Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills, knowledge, and understanding of spa treatments, wellness trends, and guest service best practices. Qualifications: Certification or licensure as a Massage Therapist, Esthetician, or other relevant wellness practitioner; additional certifications in specialized modalities or techniques are a plus. Previous experience in a spa, wellness center, or hospitality setting, with a demonstrated proficiency in performing a variety of spa treatments and therapies. Strong technical skills and knowledge of massage techniques, skincare treatments, and bodywork modalities, with the ability to customize treatments to meet guests' individual needs and preferences. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests, listen attentively to their concerns, and provide compassionate care and support. Professionalism and discretion, with respect for guest privacy, confidentiality, and comfort during treatments and consultations. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required in a 24/7 operation onboard a cruise ship.
