About this Position:
As an Occupational Therapist in our outpatient clinics, you will have the time and resources to provide one-on-one carewith 45-minute treatment sessions, ensuring high-quality interactions and better patient outcomes. With a maximum of 10 patients per day, you'll have the opportunity to focus on delivering personalized care without the burden of overwhelming caseloads. We also offer flexible scheduling options, including weekends and holidays off, to help you maintain a healthy work-life balance.
In this role you will be responsible for examining, evaluating and testing individuals with mechanical, physiological and developmental impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities or other health and movement-related conditions in order to determine a diagnosis, prognosis and plan of treatment intervention, and assess the ongoing effects of intervention. The OT is also responsible for alleviating impairments, functional limitations and disabilities by designing, implementing and modifying treatment interventions. Additional responsibilities include reducing the risk of injury, impairment, functional limitation and disability, including the promotion and maintenance of fitness, health and wellness in populations of all ages. The OT will be engaged in administration, consultation, education and research. The OT will be expected to conduct themselves in an effective professional behavior manner. Summary of Responsibilities
A Behavioral Health Practitioner (BHP) works under the direction and supervision of a Clinical Manager, providing community-based behavioral health services to individuals with psychiatric illness, substance use issues and/or co-occurring disorders. The BHP must be open and willing to work with culturally and gender diverse groups and individuals to facilitate goals of self-efficacy. This position requires a high degree of self-initiative and motivation. The schedule is flexible, as determined by the person served' s needs and may include early morning, evening or weekend appointments. The position may involve services provided in the designated BHS clinic, driving to persons served homes or various locations within the community where services are provided (if services are offered on-site according to the program and funding source.) It may include telehealth services utilizing both audio and visual communication with individuals. BHPs provide individual, family and group counseling, crisis intervention, conflict resolution, initial assessments to determine level of care, treatment planning, case presentations, presenting psychoeducational information to individuals regarding diagnosis, symptoms, medications, relapse prevention and safety planning. The BHP provides services to both children and adults. The position also includes participating in multidisciplinary case conferences and supervision, treatment plan reviews, developing aftercare treatment and all required documentation utilizing Collaborative Documentation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Primary focus is on providing comprehensive clinical services and therapy which includes biopsychosocial assessments, screening and placement for level of care, diagnosis, individual psychotherapy, group therapy, family therapy, brief interventions utilizing evidence-based care and tools and educational counseling services to a caseload of person's served consisting of adults and children.
•Community- based mental health services which includes services in the persons served home, school or community location in addition to office and telehealth clinical services.
•BHP Licensed Psychotherapists are expected to complete the Certificate of Professional Initiating Involuntary Examination form for any individual meeting Baker Act criteria in their presence.
•BHPs and mandatory providers are expected to adhere to all Florida mandatory reporting laws in addition to but not limited to child abuse and elderly abuse.
•Complete all required documentation utilizing Collaborative Documentation and all agency formats/standards
•Maintain on-going relationships with community agencies and function as a liaison with identified individuals/organizations
•Participate in community education/activities program presentations as required
JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities
Deliver hands-on, active rehabilitation for patients with TBI, post-concussive symptoms, and neurologic functional impairments.
Perform comprehensive assessments addressing balance, vestibular function, cervical biomechanics, musculoskeletal dysfunction, and functional mobility.
Provide vestibular therapy including gaze stabilization, habituation exercises, balance training, and canalith repositioning techniques when indicated.

● Promotes development of patients' daily living skills through appropriate assignment, instruction, and supervision of tasks.
● Stimulates residents' interest and cooperation in various individual and group activities and programs through positive interaction, instruction, supervision, feedback, and encouragement.
● Completes require 15-minute patient safety checks and charts patient observations, following facility procedures and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Supervision and Safety: Monitor patients and facility grounds, conduct safety checks, and communicate with medical staff for attention needs. Ensure adherence to facility rules and document incidents.
Waive Testing: Measure and report vital signs, conduct UDS and pregnancy tests, and comply with company policies.
Patient Interaction and Support: Maintain respectful and professional interactions with patients, offering emotional support, referring clinical concerns to therapy staff. Demonstrate empathy and adaptability in addressing diverse patient needs.
Communication and Team Collaboration: Share relevant patient information with the Team Leader, Supervisor/Operations Director while collaborating with the team to ensure high-quality care. Maintain positive relationships within the addiction treatment community and contribute to a supportive team environment.
Daily Program and Facility Management: Assist in patient transport, group coordination, and recreational activities. Ensure facility safety, supervise supplies, and manage patient discharge preparations.
Required Qualifications:
Safe driving record with a clean DMV report for the last 3 years.
Must be at least 23 years of age to comply with motor vehicle insurance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant behavioral health certification.
Work experience in the field of substance use disorder or mental health treatment.
Experience working with patients at various levels of care, with an emphasis on detox and residential levels of care.
An associate's degree or higher.

Family Medicine & Community Health has an exciting opportunity for an Acupuncturist (Temp/PartTime) position. The incumbent provides a holistic approach to the maintenance of health and the management of disease with a focus on improving patients' and clients' overall well-being. Th Acupuncturist practices the accurate application of acupuncture to treat and manage a variety of emotional, mental, and physical disorders to maintain patients' general good health.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
Conducts a detailed diagnosis and collects data on a patient's lifestyle, diet, health history, and symptoms before developing a tailored treatment plan. Focuses on manipulating and maintaining the balance of ‘life energy' or ‘life spirit' in the body with the insertion of needles into various acupuncture points. Administers treatment over varied periods of time, ranging from one month to a year or more, depending on the severity of the condition and the patient's reaction to the treatment. Ensures all safety, infection, quality, and environmental procedures and rules are in place and used. Reviews and discusses treatment options and preventative measures with patients. Assesses and monitors patients' progress, maintaining detailed and complete records of health care plans and prognoses. Dispenses herbal formulas and informs patients of dosages and frequencies, treatment duration, possible side effects, and drug interactions. Adheres to local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and statutes. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
Certification and Licensing:

What You'll Do:
- Provide psychotherapy to individuals, families, couples, or groups
- Diagnose clients with behavioral and mental illness in keeping with the DSM-V diagnostic criteria
- Document client records in our electronic health record system
- Maintain licensure in good standing within Florida
- Maintain code of ethics and confidentiality of all client information in keeping with HIPAA

Your Education:
