THIS IS A FULL-TIME NIGHTSHIFT POSITION (6 AM - 6 PM -- 7 DAYS ON 7 DAYS OFF) JOB DESCRIPTION BEHAVIORAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN DEPARTMENT: CLINICAL REPORTS TO: SUPERVISOR OF CLINICAL SUPPORT STAFF SUPERVISES: N/A Entry Level Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science, CRC, or CRSS preferred; one year experience in alcohol/drug treatment with direct patient contact preferred. Candidates must possess the ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate a basic understanding of the principles of chemical dependency recovery. Maintain records and have good communication skills. 1. Must have valid driver's license and good driving record. 2. Must be able to walk within the facility and on the grounds of the facility for approximately one (1) mile per every eight (8) hour shift. 3. Must be able to continuously sit for approximately three (3) hours per eight (8) hour shift. 4. Must be able to administer CPR and be certified. 5. Must be able to see and hear constantly. 6.
