We are currently seeking a 40-hour Physical Therapist for a 50/50 split position between our Waltham and Lexington locations (Free parking!). Be a part of our inter-disciplinary team and provide high-quality, rehabilitation for our pediatric patients. Our PTs help patients - from newborns to young adults - gain movement, strength, coordination, balance, and function. Key Responsibilities: Completing comprehensive physical therapy assessment in alignment with department standards and guidelines for pediatric patients. Reviewing patient medical history/record and selects, administers, and interprets standardized and non-standardized tests and measurements to assess patients' functional status related to cardiopulmonary, developmental, musculoskeletal, neurological, and sensorimotor function. Integrating knowledge into clinical decisions and recommendations Developing and implementing individualized patient treatment programs. Establishing treatment goals and administers appropriate physical therapy procedures and modalities Discharge plans and home treatment programs, and providing education to patients and families Recommending orthotics, adaptive/assistive equipment, and technology for patients with complex, rare, or multiple dysfunctions. Liaison with equipment designers and vendors regarding equipment specifications and patient needs. Training patients, families, and caretakers in the use/operation of prescribed orthotics/equipment, monitoring and evaluating effectiveness, and initiating modifications as needed. Recording assessments, diagnoses, and treatment inpatient medical records according to established documentation standards. Preparing reports, correspondence, referrals, and other materials for schools, providers, payers, and others as needed. Assigning standardized billing codes and corresponding charges required for reimbursement. Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in physical therapy Experience: Minimum of one to two years of previous PT experience ideal, pediatric hospital-based experience preferred. Responsible for abiding by the security regulations and limits of confidentiality of patient information requirements of the HHRTF. What You'll Do As an Art Counselor at RCA, you will: Provide 1-on-1 and group art therapy sessions, fostering recovery and self-expression. Engage patients through recovery-oriented creative activities as scheduled/assigned. Support patients' treatment engagement, intervening to de-escalate barriers and promote continuity of care. For Specialty Assignments: Master's degree from a related field and/or licensure such as LMHC/LCSW/LADC I preferred. Bachelor's degree and/or LADC II or related experience preferred.
