About the Position
We have an opportunity for an Outpatient Therapist to provide clinical services at our Downtown Clinic in Medford, Oregon. The Outpatient Therapist reports to the Outpatient Clinical Manager for day-to-day supervision and work assignments. In this position, you are responsible for performing a Provisional Assessment for individuals experiencing crisis. The Outpatient Therapist will also provide clinical oversight and consultation to facility staff and liaison with other community providers. In addition, you will receive crisis de-escalation training, which requires performing various physical, hands-on maneuvers and techniques. If desired, the Outpatient Therapist will be eligible to participate in our supervision toward licensure program after their successful completion of the 90-day introductory period.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm (Full Time, Day)

About the Program
Our Outpatient Program provides assessment and evaluation, treatment plan development, and provides clinically indicated outpatient therapy, case management, skills training, and psychiatric (medication) services. The Psychiatric Services Team operates as a branch within the Outpatient Program, specializing in psychiatric, nursing, and medication services. Psychiatric services are provided both on-site and remotely through telemedicine.

I. Position Summary
Provides clinical services, primarily for people in crisis, including, but not limited to, comprehensive mental health treatment as part of a multi-disciplinary team; assesses family, cultural, social and work relationships; conducts mental status examinations; identifies current DSM diagnoses; writes and supervises the implementation of treatment plans; and, provides individual, family and/or group therapy within scope of training. Education and Experience

Performs Essential Job Duties
Participates in all aspects of Fellowship program including patient encounters, didactic and clinic rotations, evaluations, and special projects.

Collaborates with patients and care teams to provide support and increase knowledge and understanding of the impact of behavioral health issues on overall health outcomes.

Responds to the recommendations for new or modified approaches to patient treatment recommended from team-based clinical case conferences and/or peer review.
Documents billable services within 72 hours ensuring appropriate diagnostic and CPT coding.
Responsible for following workflows that result in capturing activities to meet patient engagement standards as outlined in the APCM program using patient touches to capture nonbillable care provided.

Obtains continuing education as necessary to meet requirements of licensure by the Oregon State Board of Social Work or Licensed Professional Counselors and Marriage & Family Therapists and maintains competency in the practice of the Behavioral Health Clinician.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Able to practice unencumbered
In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
Working knowledge of Medicare and other payer sources

Exudes professionalism in presentation
Ability to multitask
Must be able to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English
Must speak, read, and write English fluently
Must have an active CPR/BLS certification
