About this Position:
As an Occupational Therapist in our outpatient clinics, you will have the time and resources to provide one-on-one carewith 45-minute treatment sessions, ensuring high-quality interactions and better patient outcomes. With a maximum of 10 patients per day, you'll have the opportunity to focus on delivering personalized care without the burden of overwhelming caseloads. In this role you will be responsible for examining, evaluating and testing individuals with mechanical, physiological and developmental impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities or other health and movement-related conditions in order to determine a diagnosis, prognosis and plan of treatment intervention, and assess the ongoing effects of intervention. The OT is also responsible for alleviating impairments, functional limitations and disabilities by designing, implementing and modifying treatment interventions. Additional responsibilities include reducing the risk of injury, impairment, functional limitation and disability, including the promotion and maintenance of fitness, health and wellness in populations of all ages. The OT will be engaged in administration, consultation, education and research. The OT will be expected to conduct themselves in an effective professional behavior manner. JOB SUMMARY

Knowledge of mental illness, counseling techniques, behavior modification preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain accurate accounting of all controlled medications, completing proper medication records as required. Distributes medications to clients, reporting any observed problems to supervisor or other appropriate official.
Provide assistance, guidance and instruction to clients with tasks relating to the development, reinforcement and maintenance of skills necessary to perform daily living functions independently and with an acceptable level of competence. Such tasks include laundry, cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene and personal business management.
Perform housekeeping chores as assigned/needed to include activities normally associated with proper maintenance of living quarters (i.e. vacuuming, dusting, washing, trash removal, wiping various surfaces, etc.).
Participate in the design, implementation and maintenance of behavioral programs and provides one-on-one and group counseling sessions. Plans, conducts and documents sessions in accordance with policies and procedures.
Log, journal and/or report, observations regarding client behavior, unusual activities and/or events that may be proper to communicate to other staff or information that is deemed appropriate to ensure the safe and effective operation of the facility.
Maintain appropriate client-related documentation including service implementation plans, behavioral and intervention reports, primary summaries, activity reports, etc.
Participates in client-related activities, comprehensive service implementation plan meetings, staff meetings, etc.
Responds to crisis situations using verbal or physical intervention techniques appropriate to the level of the situation at hand.
Maintains verbal and written communications with outside agencies, community service providers, agency staff, case managers, family members and others as appropriate and necessary regarding matters related to client welfare.

Valid Florida driver's license required.
Must pass a level II background check and drug screen.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Perform These Essential Job Functions RBT General Responsibilities
Implement the behavior plan. Overall requirement to implement the Behavior Analysis Support Plan or BASP (also known as: BIP, Treatment Plan, BSP) as written, trained, and instructed by BCaBA/BCBA.
Collect Data. Each session with your client(s) MUST always have data collected as instructed in BASP. Training will be provided for data collection at the start of each case. Utilize data collection system as instructed. Ensure data collected is accurate and honest according to the BACB ethics compliance code.
Probe new skills. As you notice your client is moving through their goals, you probe for the next level of training available according to their plan and assessments. Results of probes are communicated to the Supervisor verbally and in writing (or through shared drive if available) to ensure the team is aware of the outcome of the probes.
Recommend programs / training. As you probe for new skills, develop your recommendations based on your knowledge of the client to your Supervisor to discuss potential implementation / coordination and timing of changes.
Create materials for patients as needed.

Support one another's initiatives and provide recommendations

Be fluent in the Profession's ethical compliance code for ABA
Ensure you are modeling a POSITIVE ethical culture for families, clients, colleagues, teammates, supervisors, and other professionals.
If you see what you believe may be an ethical violation by others, utilize the Ethics Compliance & Support Initiative step-by-step process to resolve the issue satisfactorily.
Confidentiality encompasses all aspects of your interaction with work. This includes discussions you have with your supervisor, team, or colleague as well as HIPAA requirements for clients.

Boley Centers, Inc., a nationally recognized and accredited behavioral health care agency, has an opening for a Senior Behavioral Health Technician - 40 hours per week.

JOB SUMMARY:
This position provides a variety of services for those living in assigned residential facility. Such services include, but are not limited to training in living skills, transportation to and from activities, counseling, medication management, and housekeeping assistance. Maintains proper records, receipts and other documentation as prescribed by regulation, policy or procedure. Participates in daily operations as requested by Residential or Safe Haven Supervisor.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree preferred. An Associates degree (60 credit hours) may qualify with relevant experience and certification as a Behavioral Health Technician (CBHT). Education must be from an accredited school, college, or university.
A minimum of one year of paid experience in human services is required for all staff. With an Associates degree must additionally have two (2) years of experience working with adults who have a severe mental health and/or substance use disorders.
Knowledge of mental illness, substance abuse issues, counseling techniques, behavior modification, and rehabilitation and treatment preferred.
SCHEDULE: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Good skills and demonstrated abilities in communication-verbal and written, interpersonal relations, teaching/instructing, counseling, coaching, training, basic math and language, record keeping, evaluating, organization and planning, following procedures/ instructions-verbal and/or written, crisis intervention and such others that are usually and customarily considered necessary for satisfactory completion of essential duties.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Florida driver's license, own vehicle and auto insurance required.
Must pass a level II background check and drug screen.
