Education/Experience:
Academic training in the social service field and in the area of chemical dependency treatment is required in accordance with the qualifications for a Department of Health licensed Chemical Dependency Professional as stipulated in the WAC.
The counselor is required to maintain this status and complete continuing education requirements throughout their employment.
The counselor must also provide the agency with ongoing documentation of their current Washington Department of Health SUDP license credential throughout their employment.
Work experience in the social service field and in the area of chemical dependency treatment is required in accordance with the qualifications for a Department of Health licensed Substance Use Disorder Professional as stipulated in the WAC.
LMHC desired but not required.
Minimum two years' experience in the field.
Opioid Treatment Program experience will be given hiring preference.
