Key Responsibilities:
Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions for patients in a subacute or skilled nursing facility.
Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of emotional and behavioral health conditions, including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and cognitive decline.
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the needs of each patient.
Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and family members to support patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards using our clinician-designed electronic medical/health system (EHR).
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Requirements:
Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in State applying for.
Effective oral and written communication in English
Basic proficiency with technology, including electronic health records (EHR).
Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to regulatory compliance.
Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities, up to 45 minutes.
Ability to walk, stand, and move between patient rooms and offices within the facility throughout the day.
Full Vaccination and Booster Status may be required in some facilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous clinical experience in a subacute, long-term care, or geriatric healthcare setting.
History of treating Anxiety, Depression and Adjustment Disorders.
Psych or Addictions experience is a plus.

Responsibilities of the Licensed Therapist
Provides direct patient care for Wayspring patients and care collaboration for complex patients with multiple needs, determines the best strategy and support for the patient to encourage engagement (Clinical Care Navigators, Psychiatric NPs and Primary Care NPs).
Continues or conducts initial assessments for new patients
Creates individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances

Delaware Guidance Services for Children and Youth, Inc. (DGS) is the largest provider of outpatient behavioral health services to children and families in Delaware. We operate offices in Wilmington, Newark, Dover, Lewes, and Seaford, and we are the only statewide not-for-profit outpatient behavioral health organization for children and adolescents accredited by JCAHO. In 2020, we were honored as a Compassionate Champion for our dedication to serving youth and families using a trauma-informed approach.
Through DGS, clients and families have access to outpatient counseling, group therapy, parent-child interaction therapy, and school-based services. Our community-based service lines serve youth and families who require a more intense therapeutic protocol. DGS' 24-hour statewide Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) dispatches skilled crisis intervention clinicians to provide immediate care to children experiencing behavioral health crises. Therapeutic options are available for a wide range of diagnoses including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, eating disorders, traumatic stress-related disorders, and suicidal ideation. In 2021, DGS clinicians provided over 54,000 direct care hours to children, youth, and families in Delaware. Over 93% of clients report improvement in their level of functioning following treatment, and therapeutic benefits derived from trauma-informed care extend to clients' siblings, caregivers, classmates, and peers.

We are seeking Full-Time and Part-Time Mental Health Technician to join our Intensive Behavioral Health Services program in Philadelphia, PA. The Mental Health Technician works from a recovery framework within the team providing individual supportive counseling and psychoeducational groups using therapeutic interventions (evidenced based practices preferred), cultural competence and trauma informed care to help individuals obtain their recovery goals. Compensation and Benefits:
All staff therapists are W-2 employees and are compensated on a fee-for-service basis. Current rates range from $35 to $63 per completed hour of service. Position Details:
The Intake Drug and Alcohol Outpatient Therapist plays a critical role in the initial assessment and ongoing support of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders. This position is responsible for conducting same-day and scheduled intakes for adults with SUD/co-occurring disorders; completing ASAM assessment and LOC-D; initiating person-centered treatment plan; coordinating admission/linkage (including MOUD); and finalizing all intake documentation in Avatar within required timeframes.
Job Responsibilities
Perform biopsychosocial and ASAM assessments; determine level of care and make placement recommendations.
Gather history (substance use, medical, psychiatric, legal, social, trauma) and administer screening tools (e.g., PHQ-9, SDOH, CSSRS, as well as any other screening tools identified).
Complete intake documentation (consents, releases of information, funder forms, after care plan, crisis plan, initial treatment plan).
Coordinate same-day linkage (MOUD, primary care, psychiatry, residential, housing, benefits, transportation) and warm hand-offs.
Verify insurance/eligibility; collaborate with utilization management for authorizations.
Provide brief interventions using evidence-based practices (MI, CBT, harm reduction).
Develop person-centered treatment goals with measurable objectives and schedule first follow-up session.
Communicate with internal teams (medical, counseling, case management) and external partners (hospitals, referral sources, courts, residential programs).
Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation and protect PHI in accordance with 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA.
Participate in case conference/supervision; track intake metrics (show rates, conversion to admission, time-to-first-dose/visit).
In addition to intake duties, this role will maintain an ongoing caseload and provide ongoing outpatient services as assigned.

Expectations & Requirements
Masters degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy from a CACREP-accredited (or equivalent) program.
License-eligible in Delaware (LACMH, LMSW, or LAMFT) candidates must meet eligibility requirements at the time of hire and obtain provisional licensure within 45 days.
Licensing exams:
Counselors National Counselor Examination (NCE) through NBCC
Social Workers ASWB Masters Exam
Marriage & Family Therapists AMFTRB National MFT Exam
Experience: Minimum 1 year post-graduate working with children/families in a clinical setting.
Skills: Familiarity with trauma-informed approaches.
Documentation: Progress notes due within 48 hours high-quality, timely documentation required.
Compensation & Flexibility
Pay: $41 per clinical hour for the first 50 sessions per pay period (about 25 sessions per week).
Bonus rate: $50 per clinical hour for sessions above 50 per pay period.
Biweekly example (1099): 25 clients/week = $2,050 every two weeks (~$53,300/year) with higher earning potential.
Sign-on bonus: $1,000 after 90 days of successful performance and documentation compliance.
