Duties:
Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
Implement evidence-based physical therapy techniques and modalities.
Monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
Evaluate progress and provide ongoing patient education.
Demonstrate empathy and understanding when working with patients.
Foster a positive and encouraging environment to motivate patients during their rehabilitation journey.
Administer treatment with therapeutic exercise, massage, mechanical devices, and therapeutic agents that use the properties of air, water, electricity, sound or light.
Make minor modifications to treatment plans within the predetermined plan of care, evaluations, and document treatment progress as needed
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Oversight to the PTAs who in turn would be performing selected and delegated tasks.
Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment
Perform interpretation of referrals, physical therapy evaluation, re- evaluation, major modification of treatment plan, final discharge of the patient, or therapeutic techniques.
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in physical therapy.
Willingness to participate in professional development and training opportunities.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT)
Physical Therapist license in UT
Computer skills required
Preferably bilingual in Spanish/English

Essential Duties
Staff management
Participate in hiring, performance evaluations and disciplinary processes of Behavioral Health Technicians.
Support and implement trauma informed practices and procedures and Motivational Interviewing skills and principles.
Provide on-going training and feedback for staff.
Support staff development by facilitating training on a variety of topics that could enhance the work staff do with clients as well as training and support for trauma informed practices, secondary trauma for service providers, self- care etc.
Assist the staff manager in conducting regular staff meetings and training to promote consistent delivery of services and to provide pertinent training.
Maintain weekend staff schedule, meet with staff monthly to provide support and feedback for on-going development and thoroughly document meetings.
Support the volunteer coordinator and help manage volunteer activities that include front desk staff and clients.
Monitor and ensure required staff coverage for program efficiency, licensure compliance, client, staff and facility safety.
Licensing, agency, and contract compliance

What You Will Do:
Teach kids while playing, and following a treatment plan specific to that child
Observe, play and collect data so you can write a progress note
Help kids learn essential life skills such as motor skills, social skills, emotional skills and more
Work on goals with child that help shape challenging behaviors into communication skills
Make a difference in the life of a child!
Skills and Qualities We Are Looking For:
Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or ability to obtain within 45 days of hire
Paid prior experience working with kids (i.e. Camp counselor, daycare, nanny, school setting, ABA, etc) preferred
Lots of energy, playful, creative, able to think on your feet
Dependable - someone your client and their family can count on
Ability to constantly get up and down off floor, move quickly
Tech savviness - comfortable learning our data collection software and using Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Desire to learn, work independently, and provide the best quality care to our clients
Interested in working with evidence-based methods based in science and proven effective
Interested in working afternoon hours starting between 2:30 pm-4:00 pm and available until 7 pm-8 pm
