The Department of Developmental Services (Department) is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join their team at the Stabilization Training Assistance Reintegration (STAR) Acute Crisis Homes. As a member of the STAR team, you will work to provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities during times of acute crisis. This role requires individuals who are passionate about person-centered care, and who are committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for individuals with disabilities. STAR currently provides assistance to adolescents (11-17 years old) and adults (18 years of age and older) who are receiving regional center services. The STAR homes are four to five bed homes in community settings (Vacaville, Springville, and Costa Mesa).
As a member of the Department STAR team, you will work in a community home setting where you will be responsible for assisting individuals with activities of daily living, providing emotional support, and promoting independence. We are looking for Certified Stretch Therapists who are passionate about movement, health, and hands-on wellness and who want to be part of a growing brand making a difference in people's lives right here in Napa.
What You Will Do
As a Stretch Therapist at StretchMed Napa, you will deliver expert-led stretch sessions that combine Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, static stretching, and percussion therapy. You will work one-on-one with clients to improve flexibility, mobility, and quality of life in a welcoming and supportive studio environment.
Your Responsibilities
Deliver personalized one-on-one stretch sessions using the StretchMed method
Guide clients through a structured stretch flow using our tension scale for real-time feedback
Apply percussion therapy to enhance recovery, circulation, and relaxation
Track client progress and customize future sessions based on goals and feedback
Educate clients on the long-term benefits of assisted stretching
Build trust and rapport by creating a positive, professional, and compassionate experience
Convert intro stretch sessions into memberships and packages through thoughtful recommendations
Keep the studio environment clean, safe, and welcoming
Support awareness efforts in the Napa community through pop-up events, flyers, and referral promotions
What We Are Looking For
Certified, licensed, or degreed in a movement-related field such as personal training, massage therapy, physical therapy aide, exercise science, or athletic training
Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help others
Able to follow structured systems while still delivering a personalized experience
Physically capable of assisting client movement and standing for extended periods
Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a consistent part-time schedule including possible weekend shifts
A positive attitude, team spirit, and passion for health and wellness
