    Overview: Provides therapy with an emphasis of working with children and prevention. Work with individuals and groups to promote optimum mental Health and recover from mental illness. Scope of service will include issues related to addiction and substance abuse, family, parenting, and marital problems; suicide, stress management; problems with self-esteem, and aging mental and emotional health. Looking for specialty licenses: EMDR, RPT, Somatic Disorders, Eating Disorders, Play Therapy, etc. Essential Responsibilities: Provides services in order to maintain required productivity/billing standard of 1260 hours per year Meets deadlines and ensures accuracy of various report/paperwork, mileage records, and electronic timesheets Maintains accurate documentation of service provision. Completes progress notes in a manner that individualizes each note, reflecting appropriate interventions and progress towards goals Submits required progress notes/billing information in a timely manner as per agency and insurance guidelines and contracts Performs clinical assessments, formulates diagnoses, and develop treatment plans based on medical necessity and best practice interventions Evaluates clients' physical or mental condition based on review of client information, including monitoring of client's use of medication Provides therapy services to clients and families, individually and in group sessions, to assist in overcoming mental illness and making changes.
