What You'll Be Doing*: Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning. Interpret assessment results to identify students' strengths and areas of need, informing educational planning and interventions. Provide counseling and therapeutic services to students individually or in groups to address social, emotional, and behavioral concerns. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement interventions and support plans for students. Participate in various district and school meetings (e.g., Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, MTSS meetings, manifestation determination meetings, etc.). Provide crisis intervention and support as needed to students, families, and school staff. Conduct research and program evaluation to inform evidence-based practices and interventions within the school setting. Stay current with laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to school psychology practice.
