This position will work closely with management and employees to provide a highest quality working environment and develop a culture committed to highest quality workmanship and conscious record keeping and performance. The QCE must be able to administer, and assure implementation of construction quality programs, Code compliance, good manufacturing practice, good documentation practice, training and assuring compliance with corporate procedures. The QCE is responsible for the QC oversight of piping, pressure vessel, sheet metal and structural metal fabrications and record keeping throughout the large, multi-faceted operations of this organization. As the QCE, this person must be able to respond, investigate, report any non-conformances utilizing their experience and knowledge with Code requirements, regulations and customer specifications. **ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Responsible for implementation and assisting in the continuous improvement of the QC procedures and programs, policies and cultures. + Provide a workplace culture committed to highest quality and customer complaint free performance. + Perform welder training and witness certification testing of shop and field welding personnel. + At direction of QC Manager, investigate all external and internal Customer Complaints and other non-conformances related to quality workmanship issues to determine root causes & preventative measures.
