Marc earned an MBA with high distinction from Harvard Business School and is a graduate of Wesleyan University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in economics. He serves on the boards of trustees of Brigham & Women’s Hospital and Wesleyan University and the board of U.S. Bancorp.

The majority of the staff and IT systems that he managed at GE maintained manufacturing and ERP in the Industrial and Energy sectors. At Invitrogen (later Life Technologies) he was chosen to lead the Commercial IT team supporting intense revenue growth. Responsibilities included leading IT teams for pricing, crm, sales and marketing reporting directly to the CIO. Most recently Ryan held the role of eBusiness Operations Leader at Life Technologies where he reported directly into the Commercial Organization and was responsible for leading a world-class eBusiness team’s operations, including www.lifetech.com. The combined eBusiness team of marketing, IT, user experience, sales, and analytics professionals became the benchmark for Life Science digital delivery.

Ryan has an MBA with a MIS concentration from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and a BA in Political Science from the State University of New York at Geneseo.
