Day to day activities include:
Conduct on-site installation of sophisticated equipment and follow testing procedures to ensure accurate working order

This position is ideal for a field service engineer wanting to be involved with a team with wide-ranging strengths and exposed to a constant variety of customer application areas.
Education / Experience:
Specific to Electronics, Electrical, and/or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum education requirement is bachelor's degree OR 4+ years equivalent education and experience in electronic systems including hands-on technical experience installing, solving, repairing, and calibrating sophisticated analysis tools such as SEM, TEM, FIB, or similar systems.
A detailed understanding and extensive experience diagnosing and repairing ultra-high vacuum and high voltage systems.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Ability to deal effectively with customers
Excellent interpersonal communication skills; must have a professional working proficiency in English
Consistent record of fixing sophisticated systems and subsystems down to the component level
Literate in MS DOS and Windows software environments

* Design, simulate, and characterize radio frequency (RF) and signal integrity (SI) test vehicles using industry-standard tools.
* Partner with the leveraged RF/SI characterization team in Sunnyvale, providing technical leadership and guidance on characterization activities, including operation of VNAs (up to 120 GHz), TDRs, impedance analyzers, and RF probe stations.
* Perform electromagnetic (EM) simulations using Keysight ADS, COMSOL, HFSS, Sonnet, and other modeling tools.
* Develop and implement IPC-compliant characterization methodologies.
* Partner with internal teams and external PCB fabricators to transition technologies from proof-of-concept to mass production.
* Represent Qnity in industry consortiums and conferences.
* Deliver technical training and seminars to internal teams and external partners.
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their technical and professional development.
Required Qualifications:
* Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or closely related field, and 10+ years of relevant experience in applications engineering, PCB design, or advanced packaging technologies preferred
* M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or closely related field, with 15+ years of relevant experience preferred
* Demonstrated expertise in RF and signal integrity design, simulation, and characterization
* Proficiency in tools such as Keysight ADS, HFSS, COMSOL, Polar Si9000, Sonnet, AutoCAD, MATLAB, LabVIEW, JMP
* Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Proven track record of successful customer engagement and project leadership
* Experience with IPC standards and industry best practices
* Able and willing to travel, typically up to 20%, as required.

Join our close-knit Chemical Management team in Unity Lab Services, where we provide integrated lab services, support, and supply management tailored to our customers' unique needs. We're seeking an upbeat Chemical Management Specialist to manage chemical inventory and ensure labs remain stocked, compliant, and running efficiently.
**A day in the Life:**
+ Verify chemical inventory levels, locations, and expiration dates by performing bench audits and full-cycle counts using barcode scanners.
+ Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming chemical shipments according to compatibility guidelines and DOT regulations.
+ Pick, pack, and stage chemical orders for distribution or disposal, maintaining 100% accuracy and adherence to storage protocols.
+ Read and interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to apply accurate handling, storage, and spill-response procedures.
+ Identify and help resolve discrepancies in chemical handling, storage conditions, or inventory records.
+ Collaborate closely with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and team members to uphold safety standards, refine workflows, and train new team members.
+ May perform other duties as assigned by management.
**Keys to Success:**
**Education**
High school diploma or equivalent required.
**Experience**
Bachelor's degree with 0 years of exp;
2-3 years preferred customer-service experience in a laboratory, warehouse, or similar environment.
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**
+ Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
+ Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a safety-first approach.
+ Ability to read and understand SDS documentation and DOT labeling requirements.

**Physical Requirements / Work Environment**
The role primarily involves working independently at customer sites, which may include areas with chemical-based allergens like penicillin and tetracycline. Personal protective equipment, such as lab coats, coveralls, facemasks, and steel-toe shoes, is often required. The position requires regular lifting of 30-40 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and using equipment like pushcarts and forklifts to move up to 100 lbs. Standing, walking, and manual material handling of chemical containers are frequent activities, sometimes in varied temperature environments. Overtime work may also be necessary.

**Compensation and Benefits**
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $25.11-$29.50.
