The Microbiology Division provides solutions and workflow for food, clinical, and pharmaceutical environments. The markets we serve include food manufactures and labs, clinical and healthcare, pharma, and biotech. We manufacture and distribute culture media and other microbiological diagnostic products serving customers in the pharmaceutical, food, and clinical laboratories.
How Will You Make an Impact?:
Responsible for the shipping of hazardous finished goods to our customers and assisting in the areas of receiving, shipping and warehousing as needed.
A Day in the Life:
Support Buyer/Planner and Client Services team to ensure materials or services are acquired to optimally meet the site requirements in a timely fashion, at or below established quoted price with consideration given to inventory policies, and at the vital quality requirements.
Count, store, receive, and accurately process materials/finish goods for storage and/or shipment in line with established procedures and customer requirements.
Weigh, measure and check raw materials with assistance of computer interface to assure batches manufactured contain accurate materials and quantities.
Be able to order raw materials for production via internet and Microsoft Access.
Handle dangerous goods as needed with caution and safety.
Count items accurately when receiving and conducting inventory.
Fill out forms as needed, producing neat handwriting and legible signature.
Stock and space products, reaching up to but not limited to 105 inches high, grasping and gripping.
Operate forklift and electric jack according to accurate safety guidelines.
Perform inventory duties as needed.
Deliver packages received to appropriate employees.
Work cooperatively and efficiently with co-workers in all departments with little supervision, presenting verbally and/or in writing any discrepancies.
Report any actual or potential safety hazards to the Supervisor, Human Resources, Safety Specialist or Senior Management.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
* Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field
* Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers)

**For This Role, You Will Need:**
+ Minimum 3 years of experience with tool applications. Strong mechanical competence with electrical, utility or plumbing tools.
+ Excellent communication skills, including the ability to synthesize large amounts of information into a clear and concise summary.
+ Good organizational skills and as well as strong analytical, problem solving & influencing skills. Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ A proven track record and successful history of achieving goals and sales targets.
+ Strong time and territory management skills.
**Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:**
+ Proficiency in MS Outlook; CRM Application experience a plus.
+ Prefer 5+ years of experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing or other Pipe Trades.
+ Experience with distribution channels, with emphasis on industrial, plumbing, & electrical channels is a plus.
