    Key Responsibilities: The position must secure prescribed revenue objectives for IDD's allergy, and autoimmune products in a designated geographic territory. The individual is encouraged to prospect and close new Laboratory and Health System business, maintain and grow existing laboratory accounts, and see that laboratory logistics are in place in specified markets to facilitate efficient and effective pull-through. The territory is Upstate NY and all of PA, and must live in the geography to manage the territory. This individual is expected to: * Present and effectively sell our value proposition at the C-Suite level, as well as ensure total account agreement and satisfaction. Understand the dynamics of healthcare delivery in designated markets (including knowledge of healthcare systems, hospitals, laboratory providers, payers, key influencers, and leaders with vision in the medical community). * Protect our current base through excellent account management to grow our Autoimmune business in all key markets. This requires effectively balancing the financial goals of the organization and the customer to sell capital equipment to secure long-term contracts and relationships with customers. * Collaborate with RegionalNational Sales Manager Director to ensure strategic goals are met by appropriately placing instruments that facilitate long-term growth before, during, and after placement. * Account Maintenance and strategic growth plans for our largest national laboratory customers in their geographic market (Single Accounts over $5 million in Allergy and $2 million in Autoimmune). * Lead a strategic SAE / company initiative through broad-scale change per approved by your Regional Sales Manager. . * Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Market Development team, and District and Regional Managers to facilitate effective, appropriate instrument placements to drive sustained clinical adoption in assigned territory. * Work collaboratively with all Thermo Fisher Scientific divisions, most specifically HMD, to demonstrate a total Thermo Fisher Scientific experience. * Meet and/or exceed annual growth targets. * Travel is frequent, at approximately 50 - 75% of total time. * Education: Bachelor's Degree required Experience: * 7+ years sales experience, diagnostics sales to labs strongly preferred * Established client base in IDNs, and Health Systems is preferred Our Mission is to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. Location/Division Specific Information This role is based in our Pittsburgh, PA office. You'll be joining our internal creative agency that reports to Corporate and supports divisions across the organization. Discover Impactful Work: Are you looking for meaningful work as a creative leader? We're looking for an innovative and strategic Associate Creative Director of Copy to help lead the voice and creative strategy for all written and verbal marketing communications, including, but not limited to, web, email, digital, and print pieces. Using strong creative leadership skills, you'll help guide the copy strategy through positioning, identification, and tactics. A day in the Life: * Leads and is part of a pod of writers serving various business partners, delivering branded creative that consistently maintains high standards in support of client goals. * Continuously evaluates/refines the copywriters' work, championing guidelines and prioritizing the customer experience. * Leads the full creative journey alongside UX, brand, and creative managers-from planning, mapping, and strategy to writing, editing, and proofreading the final output of the written/verbal communication. * Helps lead copy processes and resourcing, ensuring the team's consistency and readiness to achieve strategic objectives, budgets, and timelines. Keys to Success: * Leads with a strong creative vision, inspiring and guiding writing teams through concept development to deliver cohesive, high-impact ideas. * Builds strong, collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization and thrives in cross-functional team environments. * Thrives in fast-paced environments, strategically balancing multiple priorities while maintaining both speed and accuracy. Education and Experience * 5-7 years related experience in leading the creative writing strategy for a retail company and/or agency with a focus on creative and technical writing; experience in a scientific field preferred * Bachelor's Degree - Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Advertising or similar Knowledge, Skills, Abilities * Talent for high-caliber creative ideation and marketing writing, and experience in writing and directing copy for both on and off-line marketing collateral. * Outstanding writing skills demonstrating excellent grammar, attention to detail, and story construction skills. * Experience leading a creative writing team and strong understanding of advertising and marketing principles, strategies, tactics, technologies and production. * Ability to communicate effectively; strong presentation skills, and ability to respond well to critical feedback Physical Requirements / Work Environment This is an office-based position with some in-office days and some work-from-home days. Our team is committed to encouraging a collaborative and inclusive environment that drives innovation and success. **Key Responsibilities:** + Directly lead the daily operations of the Contract Administration team, which comprises of 8-10 direct reports focusing on the review, evaluation, drafting, and negotiating of sales-related documents, ensuring compliance with corporate, divisional, and legal policies. + Keep Company and Government policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) current in the department Playbook. + Ensure compliance with all other departmental functional procedures, policies, and work instructions, maintaining detailed contract compliance. + Address partner concerns and ensure clear and detailed resolutions for customer issues. + Lead team members by delegating tasks, encouraging positive collaboration across Contract Admin, SSOC, and other teams. + Measure, develop, support, and motivate the team to achieve or exceed established goals. + Counsel, instruct, and guide the team in supporting Sales and Service by composing proposals for bids, RFPs, RFQs, and managing government and non-Government contracts. + Track benchmark performance, addressing any benchmarks that fall below target. + Ensure the activation and current status of all website registrations, portals, and critical government-public websites, including the System for Award Management (SAM). + Track and maintain compliance requirements for Environmental, Health and Safety, and Quality compliance for customers. + Support Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodology and participate in required initiatives. + Maintain a centralized database for reviewing and managing the workflow of negotiations and final agreements. + Serve as a back-up for the SSOC Sr. Manager and other team members as needed. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:** + Bachelor's degree in business or legal field, or equivalent experience. + Requires a minimum of five (5) years of experience in government and commercial contracting as well as contract negotiations. + Required: At least three (3) years managing a team of five members or more. + Outstanding judgment in balancing business and commercial needs with potential risks/exposures from customer requests. + Outstanding written and spoken communication capabilities, showcasing a high level of creativity and persuasive skills. + Meticulous attention to detail, integrity, intensity, and involvement. + Established skill in performing effectively within strict timetables and stressful situations, whether individually or in a group setting. + Effective communication skills with a team-oriented and unifying method of working towards mutual goals and objectives. + Willingness and adaptability to changes within the work environment, capable of operating in various US time zones and occasionally global time zones. + Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite. + Demonstrated alignment with Thermo Fisher Scientific values - Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.
