QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of vehicle mechanics and heavy equipment including diesel engines. Basic knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software and Database software. Valid driver's license. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. To keep our logistics running smoothly, we are seeking Mechanic 2 with specialized experience in maintaining and repairing trucks, trailers, and liftgate systems. Position Summary: The Mechanic 2 is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of diesel-powered semi-trucks and trailers, including liftgate systems and other related components. This role ensures all transport vehicles are safe, compliant, and ready for daily operations, supporting the farm's distribution and delivery goals. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and related systems. Inspect and service liftgates (hydraulic and electric) to ensure safe and reliable operation. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and implement effective repairs.
