Thomas Concrete company history timeline
In 1985 the company expanded again, this time into the USA. The move attracted much attention and would be of great importance to the group.
Thomas acquired six more plants, including Bowen Concrete and in 1990 the name of the company was changed from Ben Hill/Bowen to Thomas Concrete.
In the late 1990's Thomas Concrete Group expanded into the growing Polish market.
December of 1996 - Sutton Redi-Mix in Rock Hill, South Carolina was purchased.
January of 1999 - two plants in Anderson, South Carolina were acquired from Fowler and Moats Construction and Concrete Inc.
October 2014 - TSC purchased Moore, SC site from Holcim.
In March 2015 the group initiated an extensive brand development project.
May 2015 - Coastal Concrete was purchased which strategically position Thomas Concrete well for future growth.
