Must be dependable, accountable and cooperative. Assists with providing safe, age appropriate care to the patient by performing all exams provided by the department per department protocols. Has the knowledge and ability to properly and safely obtain a quality diagnostic study. Responsible for performing a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in the utilization of equipment for the diagnosis and/or treatment of diseases. Able to independently perform job functions. Sets up the equipment to provide imaging service and positions patient for the procedure. Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions: - Demonstrates the ability to adjust technique so that patient receives the lowest possible dose of ionizing radiation and that image quality is maintained. - Reports problems regarding malfunctioning equipment to supervisor or service provider, so that problem can be corrected in a timely manner. - Cleans, disinfects and maintains equipment in accordance with infection control policy and department cleaning schedule. Patient Care - Verifies proper clinician order for procedure. - Obtains complete clinical history, gathers examination data and assesses for contraindicating conditions. - Follows established procedures for the administration of contrast medias so that no patient condition deteriorates, and no patient suffers undue pain, due to error or poor technique. - Ensures that all studies have proper patient identification and right and left marker are utilized appropriately. - Reviews ultrasound images for clinically acceptable results and releases patients. - Responds to emergency situations and provides for the restocking of the crash cart and maintenance of life support equipment. - Assists other technologists in all modalities when needed. - Observes patient condition and properly evaluates situations when physician intervention is necessary so that no patient condition deteriorates. - Verifies correct identity of patient using 2 unique identifiers prior to performing a procedure per hospital policy and procedure. - Ensures patient's privacy and comfort is accommodated. Maintains patient's dignity throughout the exam/procedure. - Demonstrates competence in the determination and application of appropriate procedures, equipment, supplies and techniques based on the age of patients. - Organizes schedule, time and priorities so that required activities are accomplished within designated time frames. - Follows physician's instructions when assisting with procedures and exams. - Demonstrates proficiency with loading and operating power injection. - Uses critical thinking skills. - Dialogs with patient/family - Asks clarifying questions. - Seeks clarification on ambiguous orders. - Understands, demonstrates and documents preprocedural verification and Time Out process when appropriate. - Demonstrates and understands pre-and-post procedural care. - Preps the patient for the procedure. - Demonstrates and understands sterile technique - Ability to perform all Vascular Ultrasound exams. Education and Communication - Patiently and clearly explains purpose and nature of exam to patient prior to starting of procedure, so as to minimize anxiety and facilitate cooperation using AIDET; Acknowledge, Introduce, Discuss, Explain, and Thank you of all patients and family members. - Ensures that patient's questions, concerns or contraindications are satisfactorily addressed, notifying physician when this cannot be accomplished, prior to the initiation of the procedure. - Participates in the orientation and training of departmental employees. - Provides patients with preparatory instruction and explanation of procedures. - Required documentation is concise, legible and includes precise terminology. - Reads email each day scheduled to work and follows through with assignment. - Completes mandatory departmental and Hospital-wide education without prompting. Quality Control - Consistently produces acceptable images, as evidenced by radiologist feedback and quality audits, with a first time acceptance rate. - Ensures that equipment is fully operational prior to each use, by checking for proper calibration and operating deficiencies. - Sends all studies to PACS immediately after completion, prints CD's as needed. - Studies that have been reported after hours by teleradiography are printed and scanned into PACS, if applicable. - Completes all studies in RIS before completing in PACS. - Prints completed log sheet from teleradiography and submits to Radiologist, if applicable - Performs and maintains quality control logs for probe disinfection and follows infection control policies Operations - Restocks linens and supplies, and maintains the department in clean and orderly condition. - Transports patients, positions patients, and helps them on and off procedure table. - Performs patient charging activities on the day the service is rendered. - Applies shielding, supportive and immobilization devices and equipment. - Willingly lends knowledge and assistance to others upon request as needed and routinely as time is available, without prompting, so that all working time is used for departmental advantage. - Performs routine duties of clerical and support personnel in accordance with procedure when warranted to ensure continuity and quality of services. - Keeps supervisor informed on all responsibilities on an ongoing basis, ensuring prompt notification in the event of problems or potential problems. - Maintains an individual productivity rate equal to other co-workers. - Ability to operate all work stations associated with the US department. - Ability to push / retrieve images from the Ultrasound console to PACS. - Maintain Joint Commission standards and any other regulatory agency standards. - Takes call when necessary - Any other duties as assigned. This position requires close collaboration with the construction project team to ensure a seamless transition from construction to commercial operations. During commissioning, the Plant Manager will lead key readiness and startup activities such as 3D model reviews, preventive maintenance (PM) program creation, training, spare parts review and ordering, and the development of operational and maintenance processes and procedures. The Smarr Combined Cycle Facility will utilize two 1x1 multi-shaft GE 7HA.03 combined-cycle units with GE HRSGs, GE steam turbines, and air-cooled condensers. Upon commissioning, the Plant Manager will assume full responsibility for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the 1,425-MW facility, overseeing all operations, maintenance, technical, and administrative functions. This role ensures compliance with corporate safety policies, FERC, EPA, EPD, OSHA, DOT, and all applicable regulatory requirements, while driving continuous improvement and fostering professional growth among plant personnel. * Plant Construction, Commissioning, and Startup: * Develop and execute integration plans for the Smarr CC facility to accept, operate, and maintain the new units once fully commissioned * Engage and lead the plant team during the supporting of commissioning and startup of the combined cycle power plant, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and OPC's technical specifications. * Establish and maintain a collaborative relationship with the OPC project team, engineering, procurement, and EPC construction team to ensure a seamless and efficient transition from the construction phase to operational readiness. * Validate equipment performance, including gas turbines, steam turbines, heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs), and associated systems. * Operational Leadership: * Manage day-to-day plant operations to achieve optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency of the combined cycle power generation systems. * Monitor and optimize plant processes, including fuel usage, emissions control, and power output, to meet contractual and regulatory requirements. * Implement and maintain operational procedures in accordance with GE technology standards and industry best practices. * Safety and Compliance: * Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including environmental (EPA), safety (OSHA), and energy (FERC, NERC) standards. * Develop and enforce a robust safety culture, conduct regular safety audits, training, and incident investigations. * Maintain compliance with air, water, and waste permits, ensuring minimal environmental impact. * Team Management: * Recruit, train, and lead a diverse team of operators, technicians, engineers, and administrative staff. * Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting professional development and accountability. * Conduct performance evaluations and implement strategies to enhance team productivity and morale. * Financial and Resource Management: * Develop and manage the plant's operating budget, controlling costs while maintaining high operational standards. * Oversee procurement of materials, spare parts, and services, optimizing inventory for GE-specific equipment. * Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as plant availability, heat rate, and forced outage rates, driving continuous improvement. * Maintenance and Reliability: * Implement and sustain a proactive maintenance strategy for the units. * Coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure equipment longevity. * Work with GE technical support and OEM vendors to resolve complex technical issues. * Stakeholder Engagement: * Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, utility partners, and internal stakeholders. * Provide regular reports on plant performance, operational challenges, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership. * Engage with local communities and stakeholders to maintain positive relations and support corporate social responsibility initiatives. Position Summary Bulk Shipping Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently loading bulk customer trucks and completing documentation for these orders shipping from the facility with adherence to all company procedures and customer expectations and helping to maintain a showcase facility at all times. Employee is responsible for maintaining compliance with Huber's Sustainability Management System within his/her sphere of influence. This may or may not include compliance with any air permits, wastewater permits, storm water permits, or other rules as presented to the employee as required. Principal Duties & Responsibilities 1. Load customer bulk trucks with strict adherence to company procedures and customer specifications and expectations. This includes following safety and sampling procedures during the loading process. 2. Completes orders/bill of ladings for shipments using the ERP system (e.g., Oracle) or virtual terminal and ensures all documentation is correct before shipment is complete. 3. Operate the scale house and perform all duties including signing in and out of truck drivers, record truck loading and times on spreadsheets, and scan shipping documents onto the shared drive. 4. Assist with truck management through electronic system (e.g., TMS) and improvement initiatives. 5. Assist Logistic/Customer Service/Quality with the proper handling of order fulfillment paperwork (e.g., bill of lading and certificate of analysis to the correct customer and location). 6. Assess and document all returned goods and complete any necessary paperwork. 7. Perform and document pre-shift inspections on equipment. 8. Perform area workplace examinations each shift. 9. Operate bobcat, mobile sweeper, water truck, and forklift as needed. 10. Work with cross functional teams and be flexible in duties as priorities change. 11. Maintain work area and perform housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and safe condition. 12. Actively participate in continuous improvement program. 13. Perform other duties as trained and assigned. Specialized/Technical Knowledge or Required Skills * Works outside majority of shift. * Exposed to inclement weather, extreme heat and cold, as well as dust/dirt, noise, vibrations, rain, humidity, and muddy conditions for up to 12 hours at a time. * Routinely lift, push, pull, climb, kneel, squat, twist body. * Able to ascend and descend stairways (28 steps) and ladders (8 rungs) multiple times a day. * Able to squat, kneel, and be on knees multiple times a day. * Must be capable of wearing required PPE for entire shift: Hard hat, steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, safety harness/lanyard, gloves, hearing protection etc. * Must be able to operate equipment at a speed that is prudent for the conditions while maintaining an efficient level of production.
