Job Specific Competencies: * Actively guards the confidentiality of sensitive information including but not limited to patients and associates of the health system. * Actively supports departmental, hospital and system goals and imperatives and lives the CARES values at all times. * Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills with physicians, staff and patients * Highly organized individual able to quickly reprioritize tasks and meet deadlines * Experienced in training and evaluating staff * Experienced in clinical quality management and clinical process improvement * Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information; responding to requests; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving methods. * Demonstrates the CARES values at all times. Qualifications: * Graduate of an accredited school or college of nursing * Current New York State Registered Nurse license required * Baccalaureate degree in nursing required * CPR certification * Excellent communication skills and ability to form collaborative partnerships across all Urgent Care settings * Working knowledge of the provision of health care in a variety of settings * Proficient in the use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR); ability to create reports on own * Competent in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel). * Effective oral and written communication skills, communicates information correctly. * Self-directed, self-starter * Accepts responsibility and follows through on projects and activities. * Ability to assimilate new information and technologies into daily work. Education: * Graduate of an accredited school or college of nursing.
