Here's what you'll need:
Bachelor degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
6-8 years of professional experience in the design of fire protection and life safety systems.
Strong working knowledge of NFPA codes, IBC, FM global requirements, UL standards, and other applicable US fire protection regulations. - Demonstrated experience with retrofit and greenfield industrial or high-tech facility projects.
Ability to perform and review engineering calculations, design drawings, specifications and technical narratives.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with experience working in a multicultural, multidisciplinary project environment.
Familiarity with tools such AutoCAD, Revit, BIM platforms. - PE, PMP certifications are advantageous.
The current base salary range for this role is between $94,260 - $179,090. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience.
