Mohit Lad received a Ph.D. from UCLA where he worked on building systems for Internet routing fault diagnosis and security. Mohit built Link-Rank, tool for visualizing routing dynamics. His work on route hijacking led to PHAS, one of the first systems to detect and alert on routing security problems. Mohit spent a year at Nokia building tools for analyzing the quality of Nokia's mobile services. Since January 2010, Mohit has been involved in Thousand Eyes, a company he co-founded with Ricardo Oliveira.

Ricardo is the co-founder and CTO of ThousandEyes (www.thousandeyes.com), a network intelligence startup based in San Francisco. Ricardo is also the creator of Cyclops (http://cyclops.cs.ucla.edu), a platform to detect attacks to the Internet routing infrastructure, like the one that brought youtube.com down in Pakistan in 2008. Ricardo is a technologist at heart and a believer in the importance of simplicity and good design in any product. He is also a caffeine junkie. Ricardo received the B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Engineering Faculty of Porto University (FEUP), Portugal in 2001, the M.S. degree in Computer Science from University of California, Los Angeles in 2005, and the PhD degree in Computer Science from UCLA in 2009. During his PhD he did several internships, including AT&T Labs, Thomson and Juniper Networks in Silicon Valley. During his PhD he developed research in inter-domain routing, network security and Internet topology. He is the main author of several patents and dozens of papers in international conferences and journals, including ACM SIGCOMM, ACM SIGMETRICS and IEEE Transactions on Networking. He is a member of the ACM and the IEEE. In 2009 he was the recipient of the Cisco Outstanding Graduate Student Research Award and the Edward K. Rice Outstanding Doctoral Student Award.

Sanjay is responsible for all aspects of marketing and communication strategy at ThousandEyes. He brings 20+ years of building, developing and marketing disruptive enterprise software technologies. Before ThousandEyes, Sanjay served as VP of Product Marketing at Splunk responsible for the company's core products. During his tenure, the company defined and led a new category of enterprise software, pioneered the freemium model, participated in a successful IPO, and was widely recognized as a leader in the IT, security and big data software markets. Prior to Splunk, Sanjay led product marketing for Oracle Communications and Portal Software and held roles as an enterprise software developer, consultant and practice lead. Sanjay holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Bradford in the UK.
