The Quality Control Technical Analyst I is responsible for evaluating test results from in-house and contract laboratories, specifications, and information received from suppliers and contract manufacturers to determine acceptability of ingredients for use in nutritional supplement production. The manufacturing process includes weighing, granulation (wet and dry), milling, blending, roller compaction, tablet compression, encapsulation, and coating. A successful Machine Operator 1 will be responsible for primarily performing one process and carry out the related tasks while adhering to all food safety and quality guidelines, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP); maintaining required records and documentation; and following department safety, sterility, and sanitation requirements. Specific Job Duties: * Assist with plant sanitation, includes sweeping, washing, emptying waste containers, including shutdown clean up. * Operate packaging equipment (e.g.: TC3 and Fairchild tablet counter/fillers, cotton and desiccant insertion equipment, bottle cappers and CVC labelers) used in the packaging of dietary supplements. * Meet all safety expectations including wearing the required personnel protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safe practices. * Complete all documentation required for packaging in a cGMP compliant manner, including: Packaging batch records (Travelers), box labels, room and equipment cleaning logbooks, and in-process documentation. * Work in a team environment and assist others as required. * Cleans all equipment using current sanitation practices. * Performs other duties as assigned by supervision. * Must be able to follow instructions, including standard packaging procedures and processes. * Works within and around the plant to assist in the packaging of dietary supplements. * Works on a production line, following all standard operating procedures (SOP) for set-up, cotton, capper, sleever, sanitation and other tasks as assigned. * Complies with all Companies Policies, Procedures, GMP's, Code of Safe Practices and SOP's at all times. * Responsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment. * Take direction from the Pkg. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing tasks associated with receiving and distribution of vitamins and supplements. * Filling customer orders. * Packaging customer orders. * Receiving inbound orders. * Replenishment, shipping audits, loading trailers. * Inventory cycle counting, process customer returns & return to stock. * Proper rotation of products (FIFO). * Verify quantities, lots, and expiration dates. * Demonstrate leadership, teamwork, problem solving ability and a positive professional attitude. * Ability to work under direction of Shipping & Receiving Coordinators, Supervisors and Managers in a manner consistent with Threshold Enterprises expectations, goals and vision. * Perform all other duties as assigned by Threshold management. Machine Operator 1 is responsible for operating various equipment and carrying out tasks in the manufacture of dietary supplements. The manufacturing process includes weighing, granulation (wet and dry), milling, blending, roller compaction, tablet compression, encapsulation, and coating. A successful Machine Operator 1 will be responsible for primarily performing one process and carry out the related tasks while adhering to all food safety and quality guidelines, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP); maintaining required records and documentation; and following department safety, sterility, and sanitation requirements. Specific Job Duties: * Operate machinery and ability to troubleshoot issues involving tablet, capsule, and processing equipment (e.g., dry granulation, wet granulation, milling, blending, roller compaction, tablet compression, encapsulation, and coating) used in the manufacturing of dietary supplements. * Ensure that equipment is running efficiently while producing high-quality product in a safe, sanitary, and cost-effective manner that meets company and regulatory standards. * Accurately weigh and mix batches of material. * Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) to complete all documentation required for batch processing in a cGMP compliant manner, including master manufacturing records (MMR), process labels, room and equipment logbooks, and in-process documentation. * Use an iPad to input production information, including quality data, lot numbers, and quality issues into production management software. * Monitor product and process parameters throughout the process and perform in-process sampling and/or testing as required. * Communicate manufacturing equipment and facilities problems to Manufacturing Leadership. * Assist with plant sanitation and good housekeeping as required, including sweeping, mopping, wiping walls and surfaces, and washing, emptying containers. * Follow all safety practices and guidelines, including wearing the required personal protective equipment (PPE). * Able to work outside normal scheduled hours and overtime, as required. * Work in a dynamic team environment. * Ensure full compliance with Companies Policies, Procedures, GMP's, Code of Safe Practices and SOPs. * Maximize manufacturing uptime, while ensuring consistent plant operation performance to quality, productivity, cost, and safety requirements. * Take direction from the Machine Operator 2 and Team Lead, as required. * Performs other duties as assigned by Threshold management.
