JOB SUMMARY Thrive Skilled Pediatric Care's purpose is simple, to provide high quality clinical home care to medically fragile children so they can grow and flourish to their full potential. The Therapy Program Supervisor is a licensed PT, OT, or SLP who works closely with the Location Director and Director, Therapy to improve the quality of therapy services that patients receive from Thrive. The Therapy Program Supervisor functions both as a field clinician and as a therapist preceptor for the offices he/she supports. Responsibilities include delivering high quality patient care, as well as enhancing the clinical performance of the therapy field staff through ongoing education, ride-a-longs, onsite supervisory visits, and one-on-one and team meetings. MINIMUM HIRING REQUIREMENTS
Licensed PT, OT, or SLP
3+ years of pediatric therapy experience
One-year home health experience desired
Previous management experience is preferred
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruit new therapy team members and assist in the interview process.
Oversee the quality of therapy services by performing routine chart audits and competency checks.
Model best practices of quality standards for all therapy staff by documenting at the point of care, adhering to company performance metrics, and providing the highest quality clinical care to home health clients.
Ensure clarity and compliance with standard operating procedures and established processes for all therapists.
Conduct regularly scheduled team meetings, followed by concise minutes and clearly articulated goals and action items.
Communicate current regulatory standards and regularly monitor for compliance.
Model clinical excellence in all facets of care.
Meet or exceed all visit and documentation guidelines.
Monitor State Practice Boards for OT/PT/ST updates, and provide monthly updates to team members.
Participate in onboarding and orientation of new Therapy team members.
Run required reports and analyze results as required.
Perform timely onsite supervisory visits for therapy staff as required.
Provide input for therapy staff reviews.
Other duties as assigned.

The Speech and Language Pathology Assistant (SLP Assistant) is a licensed graduate of an accredited SLP Assistant school and is licensed by the state in which they practice. SLP Assistants administer skilled care to clients requiring intermittent professional services and teach the client, family and other members of the health care team. These services are performed in accordance with the physician's orders and the established plan of care, under the direction and supervision of the Licensed Speech and Language Pathologist. HIRING REQUIREMENTS
â–ª Must have graduated from an accredited SLP Assistant school and licensed in the state in which he/she currently practices.
â–ª Current CPR certification
â–ª At least one-year experience in speech and language pathology (pediatric preferred, not required)
â–ª Must possess a valid driver's license and required automobile insurance. VIVA Pediatrics is a home health services company with a specialty in private duty nursing, therapy and skilled nursing visits for infants and children. We are committed to providing each patient with an exceptional level of care.
Assessing home health patients to identify the physical, psycho-social, and environmental needs as evidenced by documentation, clinical record, case conference, team report, and evaluations.
Implement/develop/document the plan of care to ensure quality and continuity of care.
Provide care utilizing infection control measures that protect both the staff and the patient. (OSHA) Nursing care reflects compliance with State, Federal & Local regulations.
Comply with all VIVA Pediatrics policies and procedures and promotes the Agency philosophy.
Provides effective communication to patient/family, team members, and other health care professionals as evidenced by clinical notes, case conferences, communication notes, and evaluations.
Notify supervising nurse of changes in the client's condition immediately.
Provide health education to client and/or caregiver.
Documents interim changes of plan of care in timely fashion.
Requirements:
At least 1 year of work experience or 6 months pediatric home health as a licensed RN or LVN.
CPR Certification

Qualifications
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Active Texas Physical Therapy License.
New graduates are welcome to apply - we provide mentorship and training!
CPR Certification.
