The Sr. Therapy Program Supervisor reports to the Clinical Director or Director Operations and is a licensed PT, OT, SLP, or RN. In partnership with the Location Director and Clinical Director, the Sr. Therapy Program Supervisor is responsible to improve the quality of therapy program and services that patients receive from Thrive. Responsibilities include development of the therapy program, overseeing the clinical performance of the therapy field staff, improving the quality care delivered, and developing therapy team members by providing ongoing education and feedback.
MINIMUM HIRING REQUIREMENTS
Must be a licensed PT, OT, SLP or RN
3+ years of home health administrative operations experience.
3+ years of experience in pediatric therapy preferred.
At least 2 years of management experience and successful patient care experience is required.
Demonstrated knowledge of financial concepts, practices and procedures.
Strong understanding of P&L.
Ability to work with people in such a manner as to build high morale and group commitment to goals and objectives.
Must be professional, organized and able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook, and web-based applications.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee therapy program budget metrics, both operational and financial metrics, to ensure success and stability of the therapy program.
Recruits, hires, provides orientation/training, and retains qualified therapy team members. Ensures employee performance meets or exceeds expectations and periodic performance appraisals are conducted on a timely basis.
Educates therapy team members on best practices of quality standards, documentation protocols, Thrive's principles of care, and clinical metrics.
Educates referral sources, service community and existing Thrive team members to therapy program service offerings.
Develops market strategies that are aimed at growing the therapy program and brand recognition.
Promotes clinical development, competency and expertise in team members to maximize quality patient outcomes.
Oversees the quality of therapy services by performing routine chart audits, competency checks, and by providing ongoing feedback to team members.
Prepare 90 Day evaluations, annual evaluations, and conduct coaching and/or counseling sessions.
Conduct regular staff meetings with team members to review recertifications, patient/family client concerns, policy and procedures, and other related matters.
Manages compliance with standard operating procedures and established processes for all therapists.
Conducts regularly scheduled team meetings.
Educates team on current regulatory standards and monitors location for compliance.
Participate in location's weekly meetings to provide feedback and recommendations for therapy program growth and development.
Monitor State Practice Boards for OT/PT/ST updates, and provide monthly updates to team members.
Run required reports and analyze and publish results as required.
Perform timely onsite supervisory visits for therapy staff as required.
Conduct therapy staff reviews.

The Speech and Language Pathology Assistant (SLP Assistant) is a licensed graduate of an accredited SLP Assistant school and is licensed by the state in which they practice. SLP Assistants administer skilled care to clients requiring intermittent professional services and teach the client, family and other members of the health care team. These services are performed in accordance with the physician's orders and the established plan of care, under the direction and supervision of the Licensed Speech and Language Pathologist.
HIRING REQUIREMENTS
Must have graduated from an accredited SLP Assistant school and licensed in the state in which he/she currently practices.
Current CPR certification
At least one-year experience in speech and language pathology (pediatric preferred, not required)
Must possess a valid driver's license and required automobile insurance.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform client visits in a timely, professional, and appropriate manner per standards of care. Ensure in-home visit time fully meets the needs of the patient.
Complete all appropriate documentation and submit timely per protocols, policies and procedures.
Contact the supervising SLP immediately regarding patient changes, and/or needs
Review and verify schedules weekly to ensure all scheduled visits are accurate. Ensure all therapy services are documented properly and appropriately.
Review the updated Plan of Treatment before resuming ordered treatments
Complete any required documentation on approved systems and/or forms.
Cooperate and assist other healthcare-related agencies providing or assuming health care services to enhance continuity of care.
Ensure that missed patient visits are documented and re-scheduled within allowable timelines to adhere to the patient's plan of treatment.
Participate in staff development meetings and in-services.
Participate in and document case conferencing and coordination of care ensuring appropriate care and consideration of need for continuation or discharge.
Assist in planning, operation and evaluation of therapy / nursing services by providing feedback as requested.
Adhere to and participate in the Agency's mandatory HIPAA/Privacy Program and Employee Compliance Program.
Participate in supervisory visits in a timely manner as required for SLP Assistants to ensure appropriate service provision and compliance to all State and Federal regulations.
Obtain continuing education to improve care by broadening knowledge of changes in health care delivery and to meet any licensure requirements.

Performs aseptic recovery of musculoskeletal tissue and skin tissue. Assists in general practices such as room setup and breakdown, culturing, labeling, rinsing, and packaging tissue and reconstruction of the donor.
Coordinates tissue donation process, procurement, shipping, and storage of tissue, while maintaining a positive, professional relationship with hospital, funeral home, and medical examiner staff. Safely and responsibly recovers human tissue for transplant and/or research while providing special care to ensure presentation for funeral purposes. Other responsibilities may include moving and lifting donors, drawing blood for infectious disease testing, and any other tasks deemed necessary by the Tissue Recovery Manager or Manager of Supplies, Equipment, and Logistics.
Responsible for performing quality assurance inspection of all incoming orders, maintains logs according to policies and procedures, complies with safety regulations and maintains accurate records per protocols.

The ideal candidate will have:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Prior experience in a related Allied Health field (i.e., EMT, ORT, CST, SA, ST or Tissue Banking)
Valid driver's license, as well as ability to pass all MVR (motor vehicle record) underwriting requirements.

The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) is a licensed graduate of an accredited OTA school and is licensed by the state in which they practice. OTAs administer skilled care to clients requiring intermittent professional services and teach the client, family and other members of the health care team. These services are performed in accordance with the physician's orders and the established plan of care, under the direction and supervision of the Licensed Occupational Therapist. HIRING REQUIREMENTS
▪ Must have graduated from an accredited OTA school and licensed in the state in which he/she currently practices.
▪ Current CPR certification
▪ At least one-year experience in occupational therapy (pediatric preferred, not required)
▪ Must possess a valid driver's license and required automobile insurance. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES ▪ Perform client visits in a timely, professional, and appropriate manner per standards of care. Ensure in-home visit time fully meets the needs of the patient.
▪ Complete all appropriate documentation and submit timely per protocols, policies and procedures.
▪ Contact the supervising OT immediately regarding patient changes, and/or needs
▪ Review and verify schedules weekly to ensure all scheduled visits are accurate. Ensure all therapy services are documented properly and appropriately.
▪ Review the updated Plan of Treatment before resuming ordered treatments
▪ Complete any required documentation on approved systems and/or forms.
▪ Cooperate and assist other healthcare-related agencies providing or assuming health care services to enhance continuity of care.
▪ Ensure that missed patient visits are documented and re-scheduled within allowable timelines to adhere to the patient's plan of treatment.
▪ Participate in staff development meetings and in-services.
▪ Participate in and document case conferencing and coordination of care ensuring appropriate care and consideration of need for continuation or discharge.
▪ Assist in planning, operation and evaluation of therapy / nursing services by providing feedback as requested.
▪ Adhere to and participate in the Agency's mandatory HIPAA/Privacy Program and Employee Compliance Program.
▪ Participate in supervisory visits in a timely manner as required for Occupational Therapy Assistants to ensure appropriate service provision and compliance to all State and Federal regulations.
▪ Obtain continuing education to improve care by broadening knowledge of changes in health care delivery and to meet any licensure requirements.
