The Sr. Therapy Program Supervisor reports to the Clinical Director or Director Operations and is a licensed PT, OT, SLP, or RN. In partnership with the Location Director and Clinical Director, the Sr. Therapy Program Supervisor is responsible to improve the quality of therapy program and services that patients receive from Thrive. Responsibilities include development of the therapy program, overseeing the clinical performance of the therapy field staff, improving the quality care delivered, and developing therapy team members by providing ongoing education and feedback. MINIMUM HIRING REQUIREMENTS Must be a licensed PT, OT, SLP or RN 3+ years of home health administrative operations experience. 3+ years of experience in pediatric therapy preferred. At least 2 years of management experience and successful patient care experience is required. Demonstrated knowledge of financial concepts, practices and procedures. Strong understanding of P&L. Ability to work with people in such a manner as to build high morale and group commitment to goals and objectives. Must be professional, organized and able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing. Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook, and web-based applications. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee therapy program budget metrics, both operational and financial metrics, to ensure success and stability of the therapy program. Recruits, hires, provides orientation/training, and retains qualified therapy team members. Ensures employee performance meets or exceeds expectations and periodic performance appraisals are conducted on a timely basis. Educates therapy team members on best practices of quality standards, documentation protocols, Thrive's principles of care, and clinical metrics. Educates referral sources, service community and existing Thrive team members to therapy program service offerings. Develops market strategies that are aimed at growing the therapy program and brand recognition. Promotes clinical development, competency and expertise in team members to maximize quality patient outcomes. Oversees the quality of therapy services by performing routine chart audits, competency checks, and by providing ongoing feedback to team members. Prepare 90 Day evaluations, annual evaluations, and conduct coaching and/or counseling sessions. Conduct regular staff meetings with team members to review recertifications, patient/family client concerns, policy and procedures, and other related matters. Manages compliance with standard operating procedures and established processes for all therapists. Conducts regularly scheduled team meetings. Educates team on current regulatory standards and monitors location for compliance. Participate in location's weekly meetings to provide feedback and recommendations for therapy program growth and development. Monitor State Practice Boards for OT/PT/ST updates, and provide monthly updates to team members. Run required reports and analyze and publish results as required. Perform timely onsite supervisory visits for therapy staff as required. Conduct therapy staff reviews. Other duties as assigned.
