Since 1971, TVHC provides comprehensive medical, dental, and mental health care, youth health services, community health education, family support services, and Women Infants and Children (WIC) nutrition services to low-income, limited English proficient, uninsured, and publicly insured patients.
Founded in 1971, Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center, Inc. has delivered culturally and linguistically appropriate healthcare services to residents of southern Alameda County, for over 40 years.
In 2014, TVHC opened the Ashland Community Clinic, a 20,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility that houses primary medical and dental, mental health, and various supportive services, all under one roof.
In 2016, TVHC opened an innovative primary care clinic co-located with a Hayward (CA) fire station.
