What You Will Do:
The 2nd Shift CMM Technician, reporting to the Shift Supervisor, is responsible for adhering to all policies and procedures related to the various parts and equipment they are required to operate. This role involves inspecting production and prototype hardware and manufacturing components using a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). Additionally, CMM Technicians are tasked with loading and unloading parts, inspecting them with various precision measuring tools, making decisions to accept or reject parts, and effectively communicating any changes both verbally and in writing.
Analyze and interpret Op sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products that meet or exceed customer specifications
Clean, set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot CMM equipment prior to use
Perform incoming part inspections, in-process inspections, and final inspections
Verify conformance of finished workpiece to customer specifications, using precision measuring tools and equipment as necessary
Load, unload, and analyze measurement data to identify deviations from specifications
Utilize knowledge of linear and rotary axes
Operate the overhead crane when necessary
Communicate effectively with engineering, management, and CNC operators to ensure that measurement processes and inspection methodologies are optimized
Provide necessary data to machine operators to reduce the defect rate
Inform management when concerns with quality issues arise
Documents actions by updating control charts, travelers, and reporting labor in the ERP system
Maintains a safe and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping duties
Follow all Hi-Tek policies and procedures, including the use of proper PPE
Any other duties as assigned to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our organization's values
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required
Experience required in at least one of the following: Calypso, OpenDMIS, or MCOSMOS software
Experience required in at least one of the following: ZEISS, Mitutoyo, or WENZEL CMM machines
3+ years of experience using precision measuring tools in an industrial/manufacturing environment, aerospace preferred
3+ years of experience in CMM operation
Knowledge of quality control principles and practices
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)

Performs a variety of RF component and module-level test functions utilizing standard laboratory equipment in a production environment. Works under limited supervision. Reports to the production lead person.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Performs production and R&D testing of RF and Microwave components, such as bias tee's, multiplexers, RF filters and passive components.
Capable of tuning high-frequency RF circuits using small hand tools and equipment. Experienced with components (capacitors, coils, substrates), and attachment media (solders and epoxies).
Familiar with the use and routine care of common RF laboratory equipment including Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Oscilloscopes. Experience in High Power RF or probe station testing is a definite plus.
Reads and interprets blueprints, schematics, parts lists, travelers, rework instructions and process procedures to determine sequence of operations and proper test techniques.
Able to test, troubleshoot and rework as required.
May interact with the engineering and production control functions.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
2 to 5 years of related experience in the microwave/ amplifier/ radar industry.
Experienced with tuning filters using Vector Network Analyzers is preferred.
Technical School or equivalent preferred, but not required.

What You Will Do:
The 2nd Shift Tool Crib Attendant/Inventory Analyst reports to the Materials Manager and is responsible for maintaining material inventory levels.
Essential Tasks:
Create purchase requisitions, pack lists, and BOLs, and review material drawings and certifications.
Maintain inventory records through receiving, tracking, and barcoding materials.
Perform weekly and bi-weekly inventory counts to correct real-time inventory.
Arrange and organize supply shelves as needed and dispose of old or expired supplies.

What You Will Do:
The 2nd Shift Tool/Fixture Maker, reporting to the Toolroom Supervisor, specializes in constructing, repairing, maintaining, and calibrating machine shop dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges. This role involves operating various machine tools and performing highly skilled tasks such as laying out, fitting, and assembling parts. The position may require significant development work, along with precise fitting and adjustments. Occasionally, the 2nd Shift Tool/Fixture Maker will need to construct tools when no design is available, as required. This work is typically carried out independently, without reliance on others.
Essential Tasks:
Analyzes and interprets blueprints, schematics, and CAD drawings as required to create and build new fixtures, tools, and machine parts.

What You Will Do:
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the 2nd Shift TIG Welder is responsible for manual TIG welding of production parts and/or TIG repair of rework parts while maintaining quality and production standards. The main tasks of the role are the following: produce parts by loading and positioning component(s) into the weld fixture and welding components together using methods/equipment defined in operator work instructions and standardized work instructions. Perform detailed (final gauge, bend gauge, hand-held gauges, etc.) dimensional inspection when necessary to determine the quality of the part. Communicate any changes, both verbally and in writing.
Essential Tasks:
Weld, assemble, and repair production parts to specified instructions to predetermined dimensions and tolerances
Daily use of welders, hand benching tools, and grit blasters
Perform deburr operations to within specified tolerances
Correctly record and track job-specific welding wire
Analyze and interpret Op sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products that meet or exceed customer specifications
Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to customer specifications, using precision measuring tools and equipment as necessary
Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
Documents actions by updating control charts, travelers, and reporting labor in the ERP system
Perform under AS9100 quality standards and NADCAP accreditation
Maintains a safe and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping duties
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications

TIG Welding- Minimum 3 years required
Experience welding exotic metals is preferred
Must be able to pass the D17.1 National Standard Weld Test
Must be able to complete and pass customer weld tests as needed
Have basic mechanical and mathematical skills related to welding assignments
Welding certificate from a Trade School preferred or acceptable work experience in lieu of schooling
Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment, aerospace industry preferred
