This role involves inspecting production and prototype hardware and manufacturing components using a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). The main tasks of the role are the following: produce parts by loading and positioning component(s) into the weld fixture and welding components together using methods/equipment defined in operator work instructions and standardized work instructions. Perform detailed (final gauge, bend gauge, hand-held gauges, etc.) dimensional inspection when necessary to determine the quality of the part. Communicate any changes, both verbally and in writing.
