Dr. Andrew A. Brooks founded Cardo Medical, Inc. in May 2007 which was acquired by Arthrex in 2011. Dr. Brooks has been in the private practice of orthopedic surgery since 1994, specializing in sports medicine, arthroscopy, and joint reconstruction. Before founding Cardo Medical, he founded Specialty Surgical Center and sold it to Symbion (NASDAQ; SMBI) in 2005. Dr. Brooks is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He received his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine degrees from the University of Southern California. He completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at USC and subsequently completed a fellowship in arthroscopic reconstructive surgery and sports medicine at the Hughston Clinic in Columbus, Georgia.

John Elms is the Chief Product Officer and leads the development of all TigerConnect health communication and collaboration product offerings. John joined TigerConnect from Critical Alert, where as CEO he transformed the company from a niche-market provider of traditional nurse call systems to an enterprise software company focused on care team collaboration managing all facets of patient communication originating from the bedside. He will oversee the integration of Critical Alert with the TigerConnect platform. John brings twenty-five plus years of executive leadership in the high tech industry including CEO roles at a public company, venture-backed startups, and his own entrepreneurial ventures including Connexall USA, Azalea Networks, and SpectraLink. He is a former Chairman of the American Electronics Association Mountain States Council and a member of the AeA national board. John holds a bachelor of liberal arts with honors from Harvard University. He is conversant in Mandarin Chinese with reading and writing skills at the upper-intermediate level.
