As the CEO of Tilson I lead an ultra-high growth team of 600 employees consulting on, developing and deploying thousands of miles of fiber, thousands of wireless sites, and hundreds of information systems in the United States every year. I’m also the founder of a 5G infrastructure development company called SQF. I'm a qualifying agent for general contractors licenses in every state that requires them.

As a U.S. Army Signal officer, I led a team in Afghanistan that designed and built the first modern IP network providing coverage for US and coalition forces.

As the original Founder, I started Tilson which has grown to 500+ employees. Today, I serve as the CIO and VP Consulting, where I manage 80 employees and a $20 million P&L.

Throughout the company’s history, I’ve held various leadership positions, including a stint in Europe for 5 years.

As a minority owner, I'm excited to follow our talented CEO, Josh Broder, to new heights for the company’s clients and employees.

Here is what I currently do:

1️⃣ CONSULTING: Built and manage the entire consulting division as VP Consulting

2️⃣ INTERNATIONAL: Drive overseas work, using my Chinese and German skills

3️⃣ CIO: Lead our technology strategy and platforms as the Chief Information Officer

4️⃣ BOARD OBSERVER: Advise the Board of Directors as a minority owner

I also advise and support the Telecom side of the business, which is now the largest part of Tilson, contributing $80 million to the business.

Chief Financial Officer, Chief Accounting Officer, Corporate Controller and Vice President of Finance with over 25 years of corporate and operational accounting and management experience. Hands-on manager with expertise in initial public offerings, accounting systems development and implementation, mergers and acquisitions, fiscal management and internal and external financial reporting. Proven record of developing and implementing financial and operational controls that improve P&L performance and competitively position firm. Extensive experience building, leading and motivating high performance financial teams in high technology, telecommunications, government, and multinational business environments.

Jason Burns serves as Chief Information Officer of Tilson leading its information systems organization and system strategy. Jason has served in various executive technology leadership positions spanning more than two decades across numerous construction companies in the technology and cloud computing industries. He most recently served as Chief Information Officer of SphereNY and Vice President, Chief Information Officer of Hunter Roberts Construction Group, where he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of information technology, security, and process management, building high performance teams and leading transformative IT initiatives. Jason is a graduate of the University of Maryland where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Management and Finance.
