The Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration Technician that is responsible for operating a company vehicle to and from customer sites to troubleshoot, maintain and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment. To be a successful Commercial HVAC/R Technician, you should be able to work independently, possess strong technical and troubleshooting skills and be an expert in customer service.
Job Duties:
Troubleshoots and repairs commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment
Inspects the commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment and their related components to ensure safe operation.
Communicates with customer and branch staff regarding status of repairs to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated with customers.
Completes service tickets according to procedures.
Tracks truck stock to ensure needed parts are stocked on vehicle.
Sustains service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to Tech24 standards.
Sets a positive example for less experienced and/or new technicians by being a Company advocate.
Follows all company policies and procedures, particularly regarding safety.
Commercial HVAC/R Technician Job Requirements:
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Maintenance Certified Master Technician performs tasks to maintain, install and troubleshoot food processing equipment, motors, starters, and building infrastructure (overhead doors/docks, HVAC, pallet wrappers). MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
* Ensure the integrity and continued operation of the food safety system in the event of organizational or personnel changes within the company or associated facilities.
* Maintain, troubleshoot, and operate chlorine and ammonia systems.
* Tig weld stainless steel in a sanitary environment.
* Adhere to all policies, practices, and SOP's related to producing Safe Quality Food (SQF), and GMP's.
* Repair/finish drywall and paint.
* Install 460V motors, starters, and disconnects.
* Install and troubleshoot control circuits, panels, and program PLC's.
* Perform preventative maintenance on docks and doors.
* Must understand 1000CFM air compressor systems, including air dryers.
* Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:
* Minimum of 8-10 years of Maintenance experience
* Must have HVAC experience to be able to diagnose and/or repair equipment as needed.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as operation instructions, installation manuals and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
* Must have excellent electrical skills including VFD's, control circuits, and ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.

Responsibilities:
Read mechanical drawings and BOMs to assemble, measure, test, improve, and qualify tooling assemblies and complete systems used in the high-speed production of easy open ends. Additional responsibilities include:
Ability to setup complex tooling assemblies from assembly diagrams, GD&T tolerancing, detail drawings, and/or models.
Projects will include new systems, retrofits to old systems, rebuilds of old dies to new condition, buy-offs of tooling and die components.
Support Innovation with project developments, including samples run-off, production runs, testing and additional support.
Ability to inspect, measure and document tooling component settings to ensure efficient assembly, operation, design intent, and final approval of the customer.
Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, R&D and commercial teams to provide project updates, challenges, and timelines.
Balance Project time as needed as with a goal of 20% R&D and 80% assembly of systems. This will evolve and change as demand changes, but this is the expectation to support the Innovation team for testing and proof of concept on new projects.

* Attend appointments scheduled by a Customer Care Representative. Appointments are scheduled based
on your availability.
* Travel to a customer's home on a pre-set appointment using a company vehicle.
* Build long-term relationships with customers and professionally represent Groundworks.
* Recommends additional products and services to enhance or improve original installation or remedy a
potential issue, by following the sales process.

The Plumbing Service Technician is responsible for providing a professional service for homeowners navigating plumbing and gas issues. This includes diagnosing the issue, presenting a solution to the homeowner in a professional manner with a written proposal, drawing and pictures and performing the repair or installation.
Duties and Responsibilities
Operate a snake to clear main and branch drain lines in homes and businesses.
Operate and tow a Jetter to clear clogged sewer lines.
Knowledge and experience to diagnose, repair and/or replace all aspects of a water heater (Electric, Gas and Tankless) in home or business.
Install fixtures (Kitchen faucet, Bathroom fixtures and tub/shower fixtures) and repair existing fixtures (Valve stim replacement/rebuild).
Remove and replace a toilet or rebuild the components of a toilet.
Operate a sewer camera and locater to determine the cause of sewer line issues. Ability to locate sewer lines and mark.
Locate gas line leaks and make appropriate repairs and follow required red tag process.
Remove/replace/repair existing gas lines as well as install/run new gas lines.
Remove/replace/repair existing water lines as well as install/run new water lines.
Remove and replace existing garbage disposals.
Utilize leak detection equipment to locate where a leak is occurring under slabs and ground.
Certification to conduct Back Flow Testing- Test and verify a backflow is operational.
Diagnose, and present a solution to the homeowner in a professional manner with a written proposal, drawing and pictures.
Provide your own hand tools
Operate a company vehicle monitored by GPS and maintain safe driving habits
Utilize ServiceTitan to document Service Calls- Notes and Pictures are required on all service calls.
On Call and weekend shifts: We have a rotating schedule. Each shift is a 5-day work week with 1-2 on calls per month.
All other duties assigned
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in Residential Plumbing
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Driver's license
Knowledge of basic hand and plumbing tools
Experience with home and commercial software and technology - ServiceTitan
For back flow testers you must have the appropriate certification.
