Timesavers company history timeline

1950

Timesavers, Inc. was established about 1950 to make widebelt sanders, primarily for woodworking but they did make models adapted for metalworkring as well.

1955

Listed in 1955-56 Hitchcock's Wood Workers' Digest Directory, which gave the Robbinsdale address.

1969

Dubois Equipment made our first UV application and UV curing equipment in 1969.

1996

Twenty years later saw the start of Timesavers International BV in 1996 which took care of all Timesavers activities in the world with the exception of the north American continent.

2000

Timesavers purchased AEM at some point; in August of 2000 they announced that the AEM sanders would henceforth be marketed under the Timesavers name.

2003

By 2003 the company had further improved its world leadership position in metal deburring, and finishing wide-belt machines, whilst at the same time going on to produce new high precision calibrating machines and wet coil finishing lines.

2004

Dubois was a finalist for the Challenger’s Award in 2004 for our Mist Coater, which revolutionized the spray of 100% solids UV coating for 3D parts.

2006

Dubois was a Challenger’s Award winner at the 2006 IWF show for our 3D UV Oven, which allowed for both even dose and peak intensity on all surfaces of a 3D part.

2008

In December 2008, Dubois Equipment acquired Advanced Equipment (AES) of Chico CA. AES specializes in coating application and curing systems for waterbased and solvent based coatings.

2016

Another noteworthy achievement is the winning of the prestigious REDDOT Award for industrial design in 2016.

2021
