Fitzgerald has developed high growth consumer digital product businesses that have reached hundreds of millions of people worldwide. Before starting Tinkergarten, he was VP of Product Development at Knewton, a global leader in adaptive learning, and prior to that was the VP/Intrapreneur of Audible Education (acquired by Amazon) where he developed products and services for Higher Education, K-12, and Early Learning. He was on the start up team that created Rocketmail (acquired by Yahoo), and he later launched 50+ Yahoo consumer apps in leadership roles at the Silicon Valley HQ and London.

Functional expertise: Product development, business development, user experience and design, customer acquisition and retention, product marketing, internationalization/localization, scaling operations, fund-raising, non-profit management.

Prior to Tinkergarten, I held several educational leadership positions as Principal of public schools in Tarrytown, NY (Westchester), and as Science and Math Specialist at the Ethical Culture Fieldston Schools in New York City.Prior to my career in education, I worked in product development at Yahoo and Highwired, an early ed-tech start-up.Expertise in Coaching/Training and Development, Curriculum Development, Forest/Outdoor School Leadership, Education Technology. Masters in Leadership focused on Mathematics, Science and Environmental Education. Learner and teacher in all that I do.

Tim Broder is a Chief Technology Officer at Tinkergarten and is based in City Metropolitan Area, New York City, New York. He has worked as Software Analyst at Lehman Brothers, CTO and Co Founder at Kidfund, and Chief Technology Officer at WAVE Meditation. Tim works or has worked as Developer at Alexander Interactive Inc. He attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute between 2002 and 2006.
