The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing HVAC duct systems, equipment, and related components according to drawings, specifications, and industry standards. You will work as part of a commercial HVAC installation team to ensure high-quality workmanship, jobsite safety, and on-time project completion. Under the supervision of a Field Foreman, the HVAC Sheet Metal Installers is responsible for the prepping for, and installation of prefabricated commercial HVAC ductwork. Key Responsibilities: Install commercial HVAC ductwork, including rectangular, spiral, round, and specialty metal systems. Fabricate sheet metal components using shears, brakes, and other fabrication tools as needed. Install hangers, supports, and equipment following engineered plans and mechanical drawings. Set rooftop units, VAV boxes, air handlers, and other HVAC equipment. Seal ducts, test airflow, and ensure systems meet quality and performance standards. Work with other trades to coordinate installations and avoid conflicts. Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and specifications.
