The Outside Service Technician role is primarily responsible for the repair of case goods, leather, and upholstery furniture. You will be completing minor furniture repairs on all types of product damage, including handling or damage that may occur with furniture purchased in customers' homes. Responsibilities:
Repairs with little guidance on all product types.
Completes all repair types of entry level with additional skills requirements.
Performs minor repair on top of surface of case pieces and tables.
Performs solid color paper/side refinishes.
Performs small corner damages that requires rebuild.
Has general understanding of spray booth set up and use.
Performs advance replacement part repairs.
Communicates any maintenance of tools, parts and hardware needed as well as keeping repair area/shop clean.
Helps to inspect damaged product and conveys if it can be repaired to like new conditions.
Works with warehouse personnel on techniques of minor touch up on products during the inspection process.
Documents and follows through on reocurring product damages.
Assists other technicians.
Accurately reports situations that occur when repairs can not be completed.
Must be able to assess damages to determine the most efficient way to repair them.
Identifies damage, loss or surplus of goods and materials stored in the warehouse.

Summary
The Field Mechanic (Heavy Equipment) is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing Heavy Civil Construction Equipment.
Essential Job Functions
Diagnoses problems and performs mechanical repair and maintenance of heavy civil construction equipment (including, but not limited to, bulldozers, scrapers, backhoes, front end loaders, yard trucks, forklifts, and company vehicles).
Inspects and documents condition of equipment for items needing repair or service.
Replaces or repairs defective parts using hand tools, power tools, cutting torches, and welding equipment.
Rebuilds or fabricates parts.
Lubricates moving parts and operates repaired equipment to verify conformance to specifications.
Performs tasks per preventative maintenance checklist.
Drives pick-up or service truck.
Safety conscious and responds to inquiries promptly; follows through to ensure the situation is taken care of correctly.
Other related duties as required or assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
A minimum of 5 years' experience in repair/maintenance/welding in heavy civil construction equipment required
High School diploma or its equivalent
Must be able to cut, weld and fabricate
Experience and knowledge of CAT ET diagnostic tool.
Must have the ability to climb ladders and operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Working knowledge and understanding of OSHA rules and regulations
Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment are required
Previous experience reading technical manuals and understanding of schematic diagrams preferred
Additional Requirements
This position is exposed to high temperatures; cool/cold temperatures; loud noises and fumes.
Work in the construction area poses significantly greater risk due to moving construction equipment and active construction zones with trip and fall hazards.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Mine Maintenance Tire Technician, you will be responsible for the effective day to day execution of tire repairs and inspections on heavy duty mobile equipment, identifying tire related issues, and managing daily tire survey. Additionally, you will mentor less experienced tire technicians and teach tire repair best practices.
