Dent Wizard tire technician job description

As a Tire Technician with Dent Wizard, you will use basic tools and techniques to help restore wheels of all types of cars and trucks.

Working on site in our Dent Wizard facility, you'll work as part of a team to fix cosmetic damages to automotive wheels such as, curb and road rash, peeling, scrapes, gouges, oxidation and bent wheels.

Each new tire technician will be trained on the full process. From getting the wheels ready by removing tires from the rims as they come in.
We will offer all the training required to be successful!

What You Need

Mount and balance tires Remove tires from rim Manual dexterity for repetitive-motion tasks Must be able to lift 75 pounds Participates in training, follows safety procedures, job duties, and company policies Strong work ethic, self- motivation, and the ability to work independently

THE ROLE: We are currently seeking a Entry Level Tire Technician. This role is designed for those who love physical labor work and a path to multiple technician positions in the transportation maintenance industry.

QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or GED equivalent Ability to clearly read, write and speak EnglishAbility to operate a computer-based maintenance tracking system and diagnostic system Basic math calculations Valid driver's license required Must be able to perform in a physically demanding environment

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Perform PM services on tires, including rotations, balancing and repairs Mount and dismount tires and wheels Retread tires as needed Inspect tire casings for defects, such as holes or tears, and patch or replace as needed Close out and complete repair orders Identify and properly tag all turned-in pieces of equipment Comply with all OSHA regulations and safety requirements Maintain an organized and neat shop/storage area

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Maneuvering around, in, on, and under trucks/tight spaces Standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, pushing, and pulling with a full range of body movements Using hands to handle, control or feel Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
