LFG Specialties is a part of the Solid Waste Services group within APTIM's Environmental & Energy Solutions Strategic Business Unit. LFG Specialties is an original equipment manufacturer and has been servicing the solid waste industry (i.e., landfills) since 1987, providing custom fabricated compliance equipment (i.e., landfill gas extraction and compression systems, flares, and evaporation systems for the treatment of landfill leachate), service, and parts. These modular systems are designed, fabricated, and tested at APTIM's Findlay, OH campus, which consists of over 45,000 sq. ft. of fabrication and assembly shop area. These systems serve to minimize fugitive landfill gas emissions and reduce leachate volumes to maintain compliance with the EPA guidelines for MSW landfills and mitigate the release of Greenhouse Gases that deteriorate the ozone.
We are one of the leading providers of equipment to the landfill gas industry. We design and fabricate gas flaring, drying, compression and evaporation equipment. We currently have multiple openings for experienced Service Technicians to engage in the maintenance, repair, and startup of our equipment at customer sites. Weekly travel is required. Reporting into an office is not required.
**Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:**
+ Travel to and from client sites in a multi-state region, typically 3-4 days each week.
+ Work with senior technicians for first year during training.
+ Modify, assess, and repair electrical control and power systems (480VAC to signal wiring).
+ Modify pneumatic plumbing, installation/replacement of mechanical components into existing systems. Perform preventative maintenance including bearing changes and wire tightening Travel to and from client sites in a multi-state region, typically 3-6 days each week.
+ Communication with service manager and office support team.
+ Company truck and tools will be provided to perform weekly duties.
+ Maintain detailed records of field activities, safety reports and expenses.
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Willing to travel 3 of 4 weeks each month.
+ Must be able to read electrical blueprints.
+ Priority given to those with mechanical experience/mechanical print reading.
+ Possess strong troubleshooting abilities relating to industrial controls. Ability to perform various mechanical duties with valves, blower and motor bearings, pumps, etc. Welding and metal working experience is a plus.

Responsibilities
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment

Job Overview:
We are looking for a driven and friendly individual to join our team as a Mobile Technician who, with potential to move up in the company upon demonstrating success and cultural fit within their initial role. The right candidate will be comfortable interaction with professional fleet customers and prospects, and will have responsibility for operating a fully equipped truck to perform mobile services. Key Responsibilities:
Operate a service truck performing heavy duty truck and trailer alignments and related repairs [training, truck, tools, PPE, and equipment provided].
Perform jobs correctly while operating in a timely and efficient manner.
Keep track of and maintain provided tools and equipment.
Directly interact with customers in person and through various communication channels to provide them with quotes, assist in scheduling appointments, and help complete administrative tasks such as processing work orders and invoices for payment.
When not fully booked with appointments, call on prospective fleet customers to help generate new business.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 18 months of heavy duty alignment & alignment-related repairs experience is required.
A friendly and outgoing attitude is an absolute must.
Willingness to learn be coached, help other team members, and contribute towards continuous improvement of operating procedures.
Exhibit strong beliefs about the importance of reliability and showing up on time.
Be comfortable working outdoors, even in less-than-ideal weather conditions.
Ability to travel out of state for up to 2 weeks during initial training, and up to 4 weeks each year for training, meetings, and new territory openings.
Be a minimum age of 21.
Able to repeatedly bend, crouch, stoop, and lift at least 60 pounds unassisted and without pain or need for accommodations beyond those legally required.
High school diploma or GED (at least some college or technical school a strong plus).
Valid Louisiana drivers license with a clean driving record, meaning no major citations in the last 5 years, and absolutely no DUIs or DWIs.
Minimal or no criminal record. Anyone with a record of fraud or theft need not apply.
Must reside in the Greater New Orleans area.
