Job Duties
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
Maintain a service van and its inventory.
Process paperwork after completion of each job.
Minimum Qualifications
Less than 2 years related experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
Preferred Qualifications
Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various types of testing equipment.
Industry related training is preferred
Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through

Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment

Minimum Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive and carry-out Repair Orders as dispatched
Perform diagnostic services and troubleshooting to determine repair needs
Perform Quality Control checks for repaired vehicles to ensure repairs are complete
Complete all required paperwork and documentation for repair services
Maintain an organized and clean workspace at all times
Communicate directly and efficiently with Service Advisors and Parts Department Employees
Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Employer's values in all interactions
Other duties given by supervisor, as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Highline or European experience a plus
Automotive technical training or certification preferred
ASE Certification a plus
Smog license a plus
Proficiency in the use of common mechanic shop tools
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
A positive and friendly attitude
Great communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent
COMPENSATION:
The Entry Level Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $20.00 and $33.00.

Job Summary
The Fluid Services Technician is responsible for all fluid services including oil change, transmission, differential, cooling system maintenance and additional services including wiper blades and filter replacement). He/she communicates with customers, educating them on necessary preventive vehicle maintenance. Additional duties may include courtesy services, and tire repair and replacement services.
Responsibilities
Performing upper bay and lower bay oil change and inspection functions
Explaining SpeeDee programs, services and pricing structure in order to achieve high customer satisfaction and increased revenues
Attending training sessions that are applicable to the career path and position requirements
Performing preventive maintenance on fluid services equipment
Following appropriate safety procedures and notifying the Shop Manager of safety hazards or needed equipment repairs
Requirements

Clean and neat appearance
Valid state driver's license
Other Duties and Responsibilities
In addition to the duties listed above, every crew member is responsible for general center maintenance and cleaning duties such as mopping, washing center windows and clearing litter. Crew members must attend crew meetings as required, as well as other duties assigned by a supervisor.
