These rates reflect average productivity by region. **Responsibilities** + Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services. + Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems. + Install batteries and check electrical systems. + Perform tire maintenance. + Install parts. + Road test vehicles. + Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least one of A1 - A8 within first two years of employment (Tests and registrations fees are paid for by company pass or fail. Job Description JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for a road mechanic to join our growing team! The right candidate will have mechanical experience on cars, trucks or forklifts. Forklift knowledge a definite plus! After a training period, applicant would be provided with a service van to go to our customer locations in order fix their forklifts, pallet jacks, etc. Also willing to provide a gas card, cell phone, and tablet for work related travel and calls. Would not necessarily have to report to our main office on a daily basis, as the technician will be able to go directly from home to the first customer job and so on.
