About the Job
We are looking for an experienced Automotive A Level Service Technician to join our growing team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles in line with Ford and manufacturer standards. The ideal candidate will have Ford certification, a strong technical background, and the ability to deliver efficient and accurate work. A NY State Inspectors License is required for this role.
Responsibilities
Perform repairs and maintenance as outlined on work orders with efficiency and accuracy
Diagnose and repair vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify issues
Communicate with Service Advisors regarding needed repairs, timelines, and cost estimates
Complete warranty repairs to manufacturer standards
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Stay current with training and manufacturer updates

Responsibilities
The Diesel Technician Training program consists of 2,400 hours of intensive training across a 15-month period, including:
* 2,000 of hands on, on-the-job training
* 200 hours of classroom learning
* 200 hours of online, computer-based training
Trainees will rotate through a variety of technical areas within our facilities and work elbow-to-elbow with some of the best Caterpillar technicians in the industry.
Regional travel may be required to attend on-site orientations and training classes as assigned.
The Diesel Technician Trainee program is a highly selective program. Candidates must complete an online application to be considered for the program.
