Daniel P. McQuade is Group President, Construction Services, for AECOM (NYSE: ACM), a premier, fully integrated infrastructure firm that designs, builds, finances and operates assets for governments, businesses and organizations in more than 150 countries. In this role, Mr. McQuade is responsible for the success of the Building Construction and Energy, Infrastructure & Industrial Construction groups globally, setting the strategic direction, driving new business and expanding opportunities. His leadership has resulted in significant growth in key markets around the world, including Vancouver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, London, Moscow, Johannesburg, and Baku. Additionally, he leverages AECOM’s broad expertise in integrated pursuits and serves on AECOM’s Executive Leadership Team at the enterprise level. Known for building icons, the Building Construction group, including its Tishman Construction and Hunt Construction Group operations, is currently overseeing the new Midfield Terminal at Abu Dhabi International Airport, the New Atlanta Falcons Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia and the redevelopment of the World Trade Center site in New York City. Comprised of its Energy & Construction and Oil & Gas divisions, the Energy, Infrastructure and Industrial Construction group is responsible for the delivery of critical infrastructure facilities around the world, including the new Olmsted Dam, one of the largest civil projects undertaken by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and Constellation Energy’s Brandon Shores power plant. Mr. McQuade previously served as Chief Operations Officer for AECOM's Construction Services business in the United States. Prior to joining AECOM, he was President of Tishman Construction, where he led landmark projects including CityCenter, the $8.5-billion, 18-million-square-foot, mega-development situated on 67 acres in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. He began his 30-year career in the construction industry as an assistant superintendent with Tishman. Since then, he has directed building projects of virtually every size, scope and purpose, from the $880-million, 1.8-million-square-foot Boston Convention and Exhibition Center to the 135-acre Disney Hollywood Studios (formerly Disney-MGM Studios) in Orlando, Florida. Pros of working at Tishman

The upper management have a unique bond between them - they act as if they have been friends for their entire lives (perhaps they have), and this trickles down to all levels of the workforce to produce a remarkable level of loyalty. Staff really are treated like family.

Cons of working at Tishman

There used to be a culture of sexism and heavy drinking among one or two male members of the sales and marketing team.
